I bet he did that on purpose after reading the news about Art's announcement earlier today?
Well Jorch says "there are no coincidences."  It's no coincidence Jorch will always suck.

Really, really, really, really, really, really pisses me off to hear Paulides on with Noory. He's Knapp's guest. Bet Joorch is just mad as hell that GK made him the most popular guest on Coast.

He just asked, as 'conjexture', if a man chases his dog, how far is he going to go? 'A couple of hundred feet? A football length away?' What? The entire length of a football? That's just silly talk. Who would ever run that far?
Noory can't poach from Art at the moment so the slimeball poaches from Knapp.  It would have been much better to have Paulides on for an hour or so with Knapp either last Sunday or this Sunday.  Instead, we get "Portal Jorch." Noory will probably stick Knapp with some New Age crystal nut this Sunday.

That aside, and even though Paulides wouldn't come right out and say it, it sounds to me as if  he's going down the alien abduction road, campground-style.

And now Jorch The Creeper plays "Lady in Red" prior to LMH.  She must be absolutely thrilled. ::)

I think his qualms with Sirius will plague him 10x broadcasting online. Low call volume and the same callers repeatedly, stream issues, etc... I don't see how any of that changes. Seems it would just be worse.
I agree MV.  One wrong thing and I can see Art heading for the exit again, especially after watching the Sirius escapade. Sad.  It just seems to be his nature.

Hurray! Wait... what?
Not much of an announcement actually.
I'm not getting too excited until I hear him on the air next year.
A lot can go wrong between now and then.
Especially with his track record.  I'm not counting on him sticking around long.  I just hope he doesn't quit before he starts.

Even if there had been "an announcement," it wouldn't have counted unless it was in all caps.

Just watched:
DEAD RECKONING 1947 *** Humphrey Bogart. if you like 40's noir highly recommended. Classic Bogart.
Yes, yes!  I'm so glad I've discovered the OTA digital stations that are broadcasting the classic old movies, when they knew what acting, directing, and a plot were all about.  Yes, a good movie is more than just showing a video game with cartoonish special effects on a big screen.

I've never seen a lot of these older gems from the '30s through the early '60s so it's a real treat for me.  Break out the popcorn and watch a Bogie, Gable, Stewart classic on the big-screen TV.  Thank you GetTV, Movies!, etc.  "Classics for nothing and hot chics for free."

Have you caught Bogart's "In a Lonely Place?"  What a great movie and performance by Bogart.  I wonder if Bogart would have ever made it in today's Hollywood of hollow pretty boys and CGI crapola.

Lili!  Darling Lili.  Oh, how we've missed you!  Come back, come back! Come back and tell us your love is twue!

Ah, screw it.  Welcome back Eddie.  Looking forward to some interesting discourse between you and Sardondi.  Things have been pretty mundane around here without exchanges between you two sages.  Noory still sucks and the Politics thread still flops around like a nearly dead fish, waiting to be wrapped in a newspaper.

I may as well be listening to Knapp interview an author who was startled to discover attendees at a Jorch Noory conference had below average IQ's, loved pre-made turkey sandwiches, and thought UFO Phil had a marvelous voice.  Good night all.

This is the C2C show website description for tonight's show.

"Starting in the first hour, George Knapp welcomes UFO researcher Yvonne Smith for a discussion about the mass abduction that took place on Coronado Island in San Diego, and how she uses an advanced hypnotherapy technique to help people remember their ET encounters. Also joining the conversation are alien abduction researcher Melinda Leslie, and abductee Jesse Long (related video)."

Note how it just happens to leave out "UFO conference." ::)

I'm calling Bravo Sierra on this book hustler.  No surprise.

Mass abduction at a UFO conference?  Who would have EVER thought? ::)  So were the attendees there because they'd previously been abducted or did they just "think" they'd been abducted because they were UFO conference "attendees?"

Thankfully, we still have Knapp.  Since Knapp doesn't appear to be interested in doing more than several shows a month, even doofus Jorch seems to leave him alone, rather than trying to force him out in favor of some non-threatening stooch of The Nooron.

Before we start getting excited about any Art Bell announcements lets all remember the last time we speculated about going all in. That one turned out well.
The track record is less than sterling.  Woohoo, Art got a new cat. ::)

Out of curiosity (and since I don't listen to any of Noory's shows), does he do any advertisement for that cookbook he came out with? Not even sure why I care, but I heard his voice on a commercial during last night's show (think it was C-A-R-N-I don't give a shit), and then a commercial for something called "Nightfood" (which sounds like a nutritional supplement for vampires).
I've never heard of The Snooron doing an ad on air for his supposed cookbook, thankfully. I'm sure he's mentioned it in the past but I've never heard an "official" on air commercial for it.  Maybe I just missed it since I don't tune in much when Jorch is posing as a host.

Jorch only does the ads blessed by his PremRat masters, no matter how lame they may be.  He'd be doing a commercial pushing bat guano if his masters directed him to do so.

He's always plugging his make beeleeve TV show but I'm sure it's with PremRat's approval.

Art doing 1 night a week would be 100% fine with me (If he stuck with it for a few years)
Same here.  I was surprised he didn't just do one to two nights a week when he briefly returned last year.  He told us he wanted to do more than that then started cancelling out several weeks into DM.  That's when I started wondering if he was going to do his disappearing act again.  As much as I enjoy listening to Art, I'm sorry, but he acts like a tease teen diva at times.  Oh, and Jorch still sucks.

It doesn't get any more profound than that.
With Jorch posing as the host of C2C being one of those weird things going on in this world.

The original Phantasm is a favorite of mine.  Weird, creepy, and original, with some nifty characters.  The Tall Man is definitely the stuff of nightmares.  "Boyyyyy!!!"

They apparently don't have a Phantasm V release date, yet.  Around Halloween would be perfect.

Wasn't this agency also the folks who were taking lavish vacations and IRS retreats and posting "social media" pictures of bizarre skits, them in hot tubs with expensive wine, and lavish buffets and room-service and who knows what not all else on the tax-payer's dime a while back? I could be wrong. There is so much corruption in government that for all I know it could be another bloated Federal agency.
Are you thinking about the GSA scandal, with Bubbles the Clown?

I doubt he's going anywhere. He fits the company business plan of cheap, low quality shows. I doubt there are any other companies trying to lure GN away. I do wonder how much C2C's audience has shrunk since GN took over. The show is just a venue for people selling their books, DVDs, and other products. Do they have to pay to be on the show?
Yes, why would anybody be trying to lure Noory when they could just cruise down to the local Home Depot and pick-up somebody looking for work.

Middle Eastern names tend to reflect location of family, not occupation/trade.
Ah, but in this case, it was a mark of astonishment. Being identified as the town/tribal doofus can not be a legitimate occupation or trade.  Even with the advent of such corporate mediocrity as PremRat, a Noory should be considered as nothing more than a synchophantic nincompoop.

I realise many surnames pertain to historic familial professions or trades, like Fletcher made arrows, Cooper made Barrels, Smith... was a Smith.

But what was it that a Noory did?
Many small towns had a baker, hence "Baker."  And, as you noted, some had coopers, hence "Cooper."

Then there was the clutzy, goofy looking guy, who liked to hang around the town square, pretend he was important, and bore everybody with his inane chatter and observations.  The rest of the time, when he wasn't sleeping, he liked to hang out with the largest guy he could find.  When people would describe him to newcomers, the usual response was "No Way."  This was corrupted over the years into "Noory."  The phrase "this sucks" soon followed.

I've heard the name before.  Any chance he takes some bong rips before he goes on air?  That would explain it.
Not from what he's said on the air.  I believe he did in his hippy days but now he talks about the hazards of such.  Hell, he was at Berkeley.  He does do Starbucks and booze, though.  At this point, I don't think he much cares what any listener thinks.

His letter to Casey had me squirming. What an exercise in unctuous false emotion. I think Tommee was wafting the sliced onions under his eyes. And, of course, he managed to make Kasem's death all about Joorch.
I wanted to vomit.  So, Jorch was claiming we have Casey to thank for helping to "inspire" him.  Casey must be slapping his forehead and going "what have I wrought," before he starts turning over.

Hmmmm, could be a temporary attack of Nooropathy.  I get it when I'm really tired, disinterested, lazy, and stupid.  You know.  Like Noory.
