New Poll Is A Disaster For Obama

Started by Quick Karl, June 18, 2014, 07:11:13 AM

How is this a disaster?  He isn't running again.  His goal of destroying the country is running full steam ahead.

He doesn't care about his legacy in the usual sense, or he would have done just about everything differently from Day 1.  He's measuring his legacy very differently - how much destructive 'fundamental change' he can inflict.

In his post-Presidential years - assuming he leaves the White House - he won't give a hoot what regular Americans think of his time in office anymore than he does now.  He'll continue to surround himself with the same un-American, America haters he always has.

This means nothing to him.

I agree it might hurt some of his fellow travelers in their future elections but he could care less. He knows he will not be impeached no matter what laws, traditions, or policies he ignores or commits (because he is the first black President and was elected by political correctness and white guilt.) So he can implement his policies to destroy (in his words "fundamentally change") the country economically and culturally. He also can "get back" at his enemies (he views anyone who didn't support him as an enemy) by regulatory rules, executive orders, throwing wide open the border, IRS audits, and even things like bad service at the VA, etc.

It's going to be a long 2 1/2 more years with this shitheel.

He's the modern day Nero fiddling while the proverbial Rome burns.

The worst part will be the pardons and other shenanigans during that period between the 2016 election in November and inauguration day the following January.  It's imperative the Democrats do not control both houses of Congress during that time.

New York will hold it's Primary Tuesday this week.

Apparently Charlie Rangel is in trouble from a challenger named Adriano Espaillat, a New York State Senator, and an immigrant from the Dominican Republic.  He lost in the Primary to Rangel by less than 1000 votes last time around in 2012.

Charlie Rangel is a tax dodger, a race baiter, and was censured by the House of Representatives fairly recently for 11 counts of unethical behavior.

Charlie Rangel is also a strong supporter of Barrack Obama and strongly pro-amnesty.  The one factor all these incumbents either losing or winning their primaries narrowly have seems to be their support for amnesty.

Most likely any Democrat winning elections in NYC is going to have similar positions on most issues, but wouldn't it be nice to be rid of Charlie Rangel?  Who knows, maybe this Adriano Espaillat might even have the best interests of legal immigrants and minorities at heart instead of just paying them lip service for their votes.

It would be very enjoyable to see Obama lose one of his strongest supporters, and to see one of the worst of the Congressional bigmouth jackasses to get kicked to the curb.

Rangel is a reflection of the voters that elect him. They know he's  a fraud, and they like it.

Yes, but they are not even the majority of voters in that district.

He won the Primary last time around with just 44% of the vote (Espaillat got 42%) - most of the voters in his district wanted someone else, and there were a lot of people who didn't vote at all.

Amazing how the right wing media and their sycophants cherry pick information.  The NBC/WSJ poll showed just how far the politics of the right are from resonating with most Americans:

http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/first-read/nbc-wsj-poll-obamas-foreign-policy-rating-plummets-even-without-n133461

"Just 29 percent of respondents have a favorable view of the GOP, versus 45 percent who have an unfavorable view. (By comparison, the Democratic Party’s fav/unfav rating is 38 percent positive, 40 percent negative.)

Views of the Tea Party are even worse, with 22 percent seeing it in a favorable light and 41 percent in a negative one."

And yet the same article says "According to the survey, 45 percent of registered voters prefer a Democratic-controlled Congress, versus 43 percent who want a GOP-held one".

Quite different than what the statement you quoted would suggest.  Almost as if they are playing with the numbers.

And you can bet the truth is worse than that for the D's.  We shall see how many House and Senate seats change hands and in favor of which Party this November.

It only took 6 years of constant daily bashing from the Media to get there.

Then again, it depends on how he poll was conducted - who was polled, the specific wording of the questions asked, etc.  Not to mention the general untrustworthiness of Big Media polls 6 months away from an election in the first place

Ah, so when the numbers reflect something YOU agree with - Obama's foreign policy, for instance - they are beyond reproach.  Should they point to something you don't like, well they must have been fiddled with.  All in the very same poll!

I agree, the poll about immigration is totally biased and unscientific. They did not poll those immigrants under custody in detention centers during the recent administration push to flood the border.  Nor did they question the opinion of the many, many illegals in our prisons already convicted for DUIs, rapes, and murders! Shockingly, and I think this convicts them of a fake poll, they didn't even poll illegals not yet caught or imprisoned for the various sundry crimes to participate in the poll. Outrageous. Totally biased. As Obama would likely say "why don't they get a vote?" At this point I don't trust polls even when they go in favor of my position or if not.
