Quote from: Dr. MD MD on January 25, 2023, 02:46:43 PMI nominate Asuka Langley for Miss Coronavirus 2023. Can't wait for the swimsuit competition. ;)

Excuse me this subject is nothing to joke about. Have some respect. If we fail to uphold the sanctity of swimsuit competitions then we have failed as a culture!

Happy Moloch's birthday to all practicing pagans. I'm not a fan but it's good for the economy. And remember, don't eat the yellow snow or the brown acid.

Quote from: Yorkshire pud on November 14, 2022, 09:09:44 PMYes, lots of weirdos but I was asked what I liked, not what I don't like.

Good point. BTW, I appreciate your coming here for your love of Laura. That's awesome man.

Quote from: Yorkshire pud on November 14, 2022, 07:49:23 PMSerious question?

Okay. I like Santa Cruz, I like Yosemite (One of the few places I've been to that deserves the adjective 'awesome'). I like and respect my friends who range in professions from a retired police chief, several very capable technicians, a Reiki practitioner, a photographer and a teacher. I love my wife Laura who is the reason I'm here. I have met many many people both personally and professionally and can count a handful of times when I made my excuses to no longer want to engage them.

I like the idea of turning right on a red light, I like the local airport restaurant. I like the fact we're within two hours drive of Lake Tahoe and Truckee. I like the winding road up north towards Mt Shaster and Susanville. I love Laura's cooking, she makes the best cheeseburgers and shortbread in the States. I like our house, I appreciate the double garage that is housing our nearly finished cedar strip canoe, all 17 foot of it. I like the hummingbirds and other birds that come to our garden.

Dude, all that is California, not America. CA is fucking disgusting. Too many weirdos and too many fucking trees, can't see shit. But that's just me.

Quote from: albrecht on November 12, 2022, 05:30:13 PMDriving home last night I sorta 'came too' and asked myself 'wtf is this broad babbling about?' I wasn't really paying attention but put on the AM and Connie Willis was on with some dude who remote views but also 'died five times.' But the limited part of the show I heard they were babbling and giggling about youtubes and something to do with Gilligan's Island and other tv theme songs that he son does in a capella. Or something bizarre and nonsensical. I didn't stick for open lines because I'm sure they would've sucked even worse.
Kinda makes one miss Lee Cigar. Or Mike Siegel. Or Art

Whatever the greatest country song is, I'm sure ol' Waylon sung it. I cannot even explain how much I love this dude's music. I just listened to an hour of his stuff. It's nearly as medicinal as the grateful dead. And that's saying something.
