has he ever given a theory to these disappearances?

No, he never does. He leaves that to us.

I think bigfoot is implied but there's no way to say for sure.

Somehow this is the first time I'm hearing Paulides. Enjoying it already.

Ditto. Went out of my way to listen live tonight to see what the fuss is.

Okay - how do they know the intelligence of these people? SOME I can understand, but seriously?

Is he going to offer some conjecture this time with his further research ?
Wildmen of the woods, portals, red-haired giant cannibals ?

No, he doesn't conjecture.  He just offers the facts as he researches the cases.  It's the ex-cop in him.  He refuses to make guesses.

No more park visits for me even though I have a free disabled pass.

Maybe national parks locations are selected because of their proximity to the hollow earth entrances?

Good point. A majority of national parks have areas that are off-limits to visitors.

I've heard this guy before. He makes for a creepy interview as I recall.

PrairieGhost

Wouldn't the target people be the ones that would most likely get lost on average?

I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Better that then he says it's definitely some BS thing.

I'm still high off the Mad Man episode. Not sure I can bring the A game tonight.

Pixel Ghost

Did he try to get his senator or representative to file the FOI request?  They usually get better responses, particularly if they determine the Dept of Interiors budgets.

Bigfoot is real.  He lives on Mars and vacations on Earth from time to time.  Ed Dames told me so.

I believe the Park Service is under the Dept. of the Interior.

No.  It's the FBI.

The FBI has primary jurisdiction over homicide investigations in National Parks.

A close friend was on the Carlsbad Caverns board and even he was kept away from some site info that was puzzling on the long hike down instead of the elevator

I'm both intrigued but skeptical. One one hand, this country STILL has a lot of open space, especially here out west. We still have lots of wilderness. Its easy to get lost, if you don't know what you are doing

Is disappearance in the homicide category? That would make sense.

I lost count of how many times I have listened to that interview after about 5.

In many of the cases Paulides researches there is sufficient evidence for homicide.
