If any of you are on Twitter, the “Moments” highlights are SJW outrage bait 90% of the time.

No on it. But curious if they are profitable yet (in the traditional sense of the word, not just by more "investment" by folks like rich Saudis etc?)

I have a grocery list of things SJWs have gone apesh*t on me personally over the last few years. SJW in question for half the things in my list was my American ex girl friend.

1) The word "oriental." For whatever reason, certain people have chosen to become offended by the word oriental. I was shocked, and it still boggles my mind how the word can be offensive. Oriental is based on the Latin word orient or orientalis meaning east or from the east. I walk down the street and see stores called "Oriental Groceries," or "Oriental Restaurant" or something variation. I have friends from various parts of Asia who refer to themselves as "Oriental" and that their native culture is "oriental." I think the SJWs want everyone to say "Asiatic" now.

2) Gypsy or the word "gypped." I'm lost on these too. As for the word "Gyp," I learned fast never to buy anything from a street Gypsy. I think we're only allowed to say "Roma" now, which is even more confusing, because the word Roma offends/annoys/confuses Romanians. Romanians and Gypsies are not the same culture.

3) Names of lakes and mountains with the words Indian or Squaw. WTF?  let's just burn all the maps and atlases.

4) The abbreviation "Mrs." WTF? The New York Times now refuses to print it. Instead, they call every female "Ms," even those who are married. This practice is both confusing and cringe-worthy. I no longer read the New York Times.

5) The word "actress." Again, WTF?  It is the feminine form of "actor." Actor is a masculine noun. Females who act are actresses. Men who act are actors. The SJWs suggest we call everyone "actrons" or "female" actors.

Husband or wife is now "partner." "Man" is now "guy." The list goes on.

This trend is a blight on the English language. Sadly, there are 100s of words that are being actively persecuted and censored. The result is that English language is losing its richness, its variety, and its subtleties. There needs to be some way to protect and preserve the English language from SJWs.

lol. Your ex makes perfect sense to me

Walmart should not be allowed to lock up African American beauty products even if it makes them harder to steal.

If this doesn’t get thrown out on summary judgement, then Walmart should just stop selling them.

If white beauty products had the same “shrinkage” rate they would be locked up too.

I saw that.  I'm saddened.  From what I've seen, it is not native Americans who really object to it but SJW whites.  Yeah, it portrays a stereotype but so what.  A smiling Indian is a negative stereotype?  He is smiling because he's going to kick ass.

Might not be too bad if this is their new one.

It's that time of year again when people complain about Australia Day being a thing and the event it's marking (arrival of the First Fleet in 1788). Social justice warriors and aborigines get together to make an awful racket about how it shouldn't be celebrated because it was the start of a genocide, an invasion, etc etc. Some local councils in particularly "progressive" areas have taken it upon themselves to cancel fireworks and anything marking the date, and the federal government in return stripped them of their rights to hold citizenship ceremonies.

Imagine if they did all this in the USA for 4th July, since it's the closest equivalent that Australia has.

Can't give them an inch because they'll never be satisfied.

A major cop out.  It’s a fucking cartoon characature FFS.  No one’s offended but the silliest of the snowflake left and a few tribal demagogues on a power trip.

I'm offended by the Vikings franchise.
Btw, Phil Hendrie had a good about the "fighting Irish" back in the day. Wanted the name changed because of the stereotyping and also incitement to violence. He, as "guest," also got the news story about an Irish Traveler who beat her kid into the bit.

QuoteNURSES have been told to acknowledge “white privilege” when treating indigenous patients in a move slammed by outspoken Australian Conservatives senator Cory Bernardi.

The code of conduct developed by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, to come into effect in March, says cultural safety is “as important to quality care as clinical safety”.
“In relation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, cultural safety provides a decolonising model of practice based on dialogue, communication, power sharing and negotiation, and the acknowledgment of white privilege,” the manual reads.

The current code, introduced in 2013, does not include any reference to white privilege but does require nurses to refrain from expressing “racist, sexist, homophobic, ageist and other prejudicial and discriminatory attitudes”.

"cultural safety is “as important to quality care as clinical safety”."  :o

Seriously? That is insanity. I don't give a crap if some EMT calls me "honkey" if he is doing CPR correctly and saving my life. And I seriously doubt that there are many nurses, EMTs, doctors, or health practitioners who call their patients by racial epithets anyway. But, if I was a patient, I wouldn't care as long as they are doing the proper thing medically correctly.

It's one thing if they're being racist or discriminatory to your face, it's another thing entirely what they seem to be saying in the article.
