George just announced (without a lot of slur and mumble - but without a lot of specific info either.) that C2C is about to get a "long overdue" upgrade to their website.  They'll be asking people to look at the prototype, and give feedback before it goes officially live.

When?  WHEN?  ----

Oh!  And they are going to have a free ("absolutely free!") email newsletter for us to sign up for.  George says:

"We don't know how often it will come out.  It could be every day, or every week - but it will have a name and everything."

Gosh, impressive.

Hmmm...interesting. Ratings must be down. The snoron must resent actually having to put any work into this new endeavor.

BAAAHAHAHAHA. Snoory = ruiner of all good. I also just saw an ad for AXe chocolate scented spray for me. Another good thing ruined. Yuck. Dudes smelling like chocolate?!

Actually men and chocolate sounds like a good combination to me!

Please God. Let this be true.

Oh, the KY Jelly part is true. I remember George reading the KY ads. It's the Viagra I am not sure of. Does anyone remember? I remember making a joke that George should come on and say,"Everyone thinks my best friend is my dog , KC, but it's really my little blue pill" or something to that effect.

Viagra or Cialas?

IHOP or Silver Diner?

Two-ply or uno?

Why do you suck so much? Do you have a suck pill before you go on the air? I can't even bear to listen anymore. Sometimes I listen JUST so I can post here about how much he sucks.

I may be mistaken, but didn't George used to advertise for Viagra? Or should I say, didn't Viagra used to advertise on Coast? I say this because I remember about a year ago on another forum making fun of George for advertising KY Jelly and Viagra. We all joked about the quality of the sponsors taking a nosedive for the worst when George popped on the scene.

Does anyone else remember this? or am I thinking of an alternate universe I used to inhabit?

I thought maybe we should have a single thread for anyone who wants to complain about their douche score. More diplomatically, to inquire as to who felt compelled to take such action, and possibly ascertain the cause. Or for anyone who wants to be like, 'Yeah, I douched you, and I'll do it again!'

I, for one, am curious.

Ahhh..I'm out of complaints. I went from 3 to 13 in under a week. I'm over it now. Whatever. Douche away.  My On the $ score is more important anyway.

Yeah, I heard from a woman who used to work for one of those matching/dating services that they're a total scam and prey on lonely people.

Yeah, matching/dating services reek of desperation.

1) he has the self-involved ego of a child who doesn't know any better, which is pretty bad since he's had 40+ years to get a clue...

40+ years?! The man is in his late '50's. He's older than dirt. He's a living fossil. He needs to be helped across a room. He should know WAAAAY better.

I have totally neglected this section! News Flash. McCain just suspended his campaign. Pussy!

Oh, please! I need a man with a set of balls and a spine to lead us forward, not some pussy who picks up his toys and goes home to cry when the going gets tough. How is his not campaigning going to help the economy? This is not something that McCain himself can singlehandedly fix then be back on the campaign trail by next Monday.

I have to wonder what the REAL reason for the temporary suspension is. Could it be because he is down in the polls? Because he is afraid of debating the big O? Because he is low on funds and figures he'll save some money by suspending his campaign and trying to guilt Obama into doing the same for a few days?

You don't know how much I love Larry David. I feel his pain. Anyway, I waitressed at various places when I was putting myself throught school and have seen nasty things, too. I saw a piece of steak fall to the floor once, get rinsed off and then put back on the plate in the kitchen. At least it was rinsed off. I also once walked into the kitchen to find our sweaty chef with his arm elbow deep in a giant vat of mashed potatoes. He pulled his hand out, licked his arm to taste the potatoes and stuck his arm back into the vat. Needless to say, I never had the mased potatoes there again. I have also seen derma (or kishka) being made in a giant sink. Imagine chicken fat and vegetable stuffing mixed together and stuffed into intestines that are sitting in a large sink, then cooked. Don't get me wrong, once it's on your plate and has a little gravy over it, it's delish. But seeing it there, at it's most most disgusting state sitting in a large kitchen sink is a big turn off and an image that's hard to get out of your head.

Funny - I find it classy - maybe even elegant - but what gives it gender?  (I'm serious!  It never occurred to me!)  And I do know that some designs suggest gender - but don't see it here.  That doesn't mean I'm RIGHT - I just wanna know what makes you say that.

And, it's also okay if you can't say for sure.  I spend too damned much time at design critiques anyway.

I didn't get a feel for gender, either. It's just a pretty design and you're right, it does look classy. I think maybe Fry's has men on her mind.... ;)

Okay - choice made.  For good or ill - I take next semester off to deal with some medical issues (need an elective surgery or two - "elective" only I the sense that I can play with time - not that it doesn't need to be done) Go to summer school (yet AGAIN --- siiiiigh) and the start the masters program in the fall. All of this presumes the paper work goes though - but there is no reason why not -  got the grades - got the connections - now I just gotta get the process underway.

This is the program - and may God have mercy on my soul!

Don't feel bad Ev. I've been meaning to go back for my PhD, but have not been able to due to other responsibilities. I never wanted a Masters, it was the Doctorate I wanted, but I figured w/a Masters I could make more $ than w/ just a college degree, pay off my school loans and apply to a PhD program. I'm still waiting to apply. And I'm going to have to take my GRE's again. At least you're moving forward. I feel like my life has been in a holding pattern the last couple of years.

Archive of Old Threads / Is George Noory a Demon?
September 20, 2008, 03:31:11 PM
It really begs the question. I am catching up on old Coast shows that I missed, while I work on my computer all weekend. I am listening to the 5/19/08 show, this is a show description from the C2C site:

Angel communicator Ann Albers discussed mystical dimensions, evolved spiritual beings, and demonic entities. Angels are like the nerve signals of the universe, and can be thought of as frequency beings, she said. Demons, in contrast, are disconnected from the field, and consciously and maliciously seek to foster negative emotions. A good way to disengage from demons is to not indulge or react to them, so they have nothing to feed on, she explained.

Albers said she is able to send her consciousness into other dimensions, which are spheres of awareness. The frequency of the angelic realm is like a beautiful symphony, with a swirling mass of color, she detailed, adding that she regularly receives guidance from a variety of angelic presences.

The angels convey that humans have access to the same information or source that they do, and must learn to put as much trust in themselves as they do in them, she shared. Intention is important in developing the ability to communicate with angels, as well as the belief that it's a natural thing to do, Albers noted.

Albers is an Angel communicator. This should have been a show about ANGELS, and yet George Noory insisted on asking question after question about demons. Thanks to all his harping in this one direction, the Angel communicator did an entire show about demons. He is obsessed. What a sick fuck. Damn you George, you miserable douche. Isn't it enough that he revels in stories about dead children, that he pretends to have psychic powers, that he has an ego the size of Mt. Rushmore, that he has ruined Coast to Coast, that he comes across as a smarmy, self involved, greedy bastard, that he pretends to be something he is not ( a nice guy, a 'light' worker), etc.  No, none of this suffices. No. He has to always turn to the dark side of everything, whether it be fear mongering about 2012, scaring the public with tall tales of impending doom (e.g.CERN) or turning a show about Angels into a show about demons.

The icing on the cake was when the snoron asked Albers if Angels are like Clarence in It's a Wonderful Life.

Fuck you George.

'Tis better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.
- Abraham Lincoln

Words to live by, George.

Am I the only one who noticed George sounding completely out of his element while he had a 'conversation' with icke?

He made a lot of grunting sounds and said things like 'yeah', and 'I agree" when you could tell he sounded clueless.

This is an actual quote from the snoron referring to David's theories of the Powers That Be and their influence on world events:

"David, it's fascinatring on one end and it is frightening on the other, and I don't know which one we can handle."-George Noory 9/18/08

WHAT?!? The little that the snoron did say did not even make sense. Is this man on drugs? I think someone high as a kite could do a better job interviewing a guest and have a more intelligent conversation than George does on a nightly basis.

(I posted this on another site, but bears repeating)

I noticed that that banner appeared right after I posted the above post some time ago, and I wondered if it had been inspired by my post. I don't want a medal, but here's what I do want:

   1) The entire cast of Riverdance to dance at my daughter's wedding. I don't have a daughter.

   2) Well-known radio talk show host George Noory to experience uncontrollable flatulence on the air.

   3) Mischa Barton's hand in marriage. Not the rest of 'er, just 'er 'and.

M, still holding out for that big "The O.C." reunion

This is not a joke, but I was alternately listening and dry heaving last night while George was on and I could almost SWEAR I heard what sounded like flattulence. I stopped typing on my computer and listened more intently. Nothing. Then, a couple of minutes later, I heard it again. I can't be sure, of course, but like the 'magic marker' that I think I constantly hear in the background, I am pretty sure I heard Noory fart.

The most recent one was about some Russian "Satanists" who murdered and cannibalized some teens.  Complete with the gory details.  C'mon GEORGE -  sometimes the reasons for things not being mainstream news isn't conspiratorial - it's TASTE (no pun intended)

Well, last night we were 'treated' to a tale of 2 kids getting strangled by getting their heads caught in some toy net. That was the second story. I forget what the first story was, but the first 2 stories right out of the chute were about mangled children. It is disturbing and makes me want to reach right through the radio to grab for Snoory's neck.

The snoron started his show with 2 stories of mangled and dead children. What the fuck is wrong with this piece of shit who passes himself off as a human?! I mean, seriously...WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM?! Does he get off on this? I can't understand why day in and day out Noory seems to revel in these gruesome stories. I would love for the men in white to break into the studio one night and drag him away.

Hey all    FWIW, there's a site to get streaming talk (and other) radio.  You can rate the hosts and it shows C2C w/GN and C2C Rewind.

The site is:

http://streamingradioguide.com/radio-shows-on-air.php

Just key in the show name under "Show Search," at upper right.

Surprisingly, they show a '7' for rating (out of 10).  But, the streaming rating is shown as " -13.34% ."  You can add comments as well. Have fun!

Thanks for the link!
