George said that he would never retire and that he wanted it to work out such that death would come while he was on the air. Exactly how serious he was I do not know.

The quality of the first two callers with Dr. Lincoln was really embarrassing. The first caller rambled on and on with irrelevant talking. The second caller spoke like an equal of Dr. Lincoln, bringing up the recent launch of a rocket ship from Earth into space that resulted in Earth receiving the COV-19 virus.

Kevin Randle mentions on his blog that he will do a weekly report on what is happening in UFO's on either Thursdays or Fridays at the start of Coast to Coast. He doesn't say anything about Peter Davenport.

I believe they were marking Tommee's mother's 100th birthday, but I believe she is no longer living.

I agree about Jimmy Church. His voice is annoying and I do not listen when he is on.

Radio and Podcasts / Re: Chuck Harder

The web page I linked to above has at the bottom:

so "last Tuesday" may not be last Tuesday.

Radio and Podcasts / Chuck Harder

According to this web page, Chuck Harder, who was a talk show host popular in the 1990s, died "last Tuesday." I don't see confirmation or an obituary elsewhere.

Agreed, Stephen Cohen was excellent. Just about everything Noory said or asked was cringe-worthy. Twice, before giving an answer, Cohen said something like "this is something I have studied for years" or "this is an area in which I have some expertise," and I think he just said that to discourage Noory from offering his inane comments afterwards.

Radio and Podcasts / Dr. Wallach

Dr. Wallach said this morning that there are no genetically caused birth defects. All birth defects are caused by nutrition problems. I couldn't believe he said this. Noory of course ignored it. Searching Wallach's web site, I see that he said in a past program "diseases such as cystic fibrosis are not genetically based, but are caused by deficiencies in the diet."

On Wallach's previous appearance (not today), I noticed that Noory said that if you call Wallach's phone number, you would talk to a human bee-een.  I just mention this so that I can type 4 e's in a row, ignoring the hyphen.

Noory's speech impediment is that he usually does not pronounce the ng sound, as in morning and evening, but instead pronounces the n sound. Thus, at the start of each show, he usually says good morneen and good eveneen. But he does sometimes properly pronounce the ng sound, especially in one-syllable words such as ring. So he is capable of pronouncing the sound and it would seem that he would try to notice these words and say them properly.

In my opinion, Noory may be the ideal person to host Coast to Coast AM. I presume most people would think he should occasionally have guests who are spouting nonsense, such as astrologers and hollow-earth advocates and the woman last night who said that to remove spells on a person, one should pour coffee over their heads. Some people complain that he doesn't challenge these people, but if he did they would never come back to do his show again or would not appear the first time.

I do cringe sometimes when his guest is some outstanding scientist, etc., and he brings up paranormal explanations that are totally out of place. I think he knows better, but he has a need to keep that element in the show.
