This is a story the media will probably ignore, but China basically now has the name, SS#, address, family members, background for 21 million people who've done work for the US government. Everyone from contractors to CIA agents, anyone that's held a security clearance. It's like having a telephone book for recruiting spies or hacking important individuals. I can't believe the US government was this negligent and didn't have better security.

Unrestricted Warfare is an odd one. I'm not sure what China meant by that. It's not something that you'd want out there unless you were trying to send a message with it. I'm guessing they were telling us "we can defeat you if we want to".

The reason that book stayed under the public radar is because it is somewhat chewy and not at all in the vein of a barn-burner bestseller. It's all about the long view and inevitability.

For example, Chapter 7 is titled: "Ten Thousand Methods Combined as One: Combinations That Transcend Boundaries." Or, Chapter 6: "Seeking Rules of Victory: The Force Moves Away From the Point of the Enemy's Attack."

Akshully, the more I lay this out, the more I think it should be required reading for The Blitz.

I think this is the story...interesting, if not disturbing...

Met his third wife, Marcelle Lear, at a promotion for Learjets. While in his Batman (1966) costume, he posed with Learjet executive (and son of the founder) John Lear - who was married to her at the time.

Wow. Interesting and disturbing, indeed. Cool that Batman posed with the jet tho. I actually sorta vaguely remember that.

btw Chefist, you were excellent on the show last night. It was a riot! The chatroom was hopping like a bag full of rabbits!

haha...thanks, Zen! It was fun! I'm usually not up that late, and I had drank a few adult beverages, so I was probably a little giddy....:-)

I thought for sure the main stream Media would have picked up on the fact that there was a claim before the fact about Wall Street. I guess it is just no longer possible to trust what we hear from them at all.

You pretty much have to go to BBC, Al-Jazeera, RT and such to get non-censured US news.

It's almost starting to get a bit like NKorea and such where you have to get outside broadcasts to really know what's going on in your own country.

Did anyone find the video of John Lear's appearance on the Batman & Robin show in the 1960s yet? I simply must see it.
The 1960s Batman episodes that featured John Lear's appearance with a Lear Jet was the ones that featured the guest villian "The Puzzler"

I found three framegrabs featuring John Lear in the episode.
John Lear is the guy sitting down with the tie and later shaking the hand of the man who is standing up.

So true, Zenman. As someone living outside the US, it sure has been shocking since 911 how the media has become an arm of propaganda, isn't it? But you know, the BBC (as well as the CBC) is slipping quite a bit now too. Very slanted...wouldn't classify them as propaganda yet, but they are going in that direction, aren't they?

Yeah, as I understand it while John Lear was on the Batman set for his scenes, Adam West (Batman) was making moves on John's wife at the time behind the scenes...

Shocking how much infidelity and nasty business was going on behind-the-scenes on the Batman set, eh? And there were all us 12 year olds watching it like it was a good clean show.

In his autobiography book, Adam West included some photos of himself with his wife in the 1970s (John Lear's ex-wife):

You're right. BBC used to be more objective, but it seems like they're pushing the socialist agenda a bit these days. They definitely still report the US news more objectively that our msm does here tho. No doubt about that. And they cover stories that our msm seems to ignore, like yesterday's hack thing.

In the top photo, the wife looks drugged. Scary Bill Cosby stuff, eh?

Not to mention all the hoopla over Robin's costume behind the scenes that Nancy alluded to last night...   8)

And that unsightly problem with the Greyhounds.

RoseGirl

OMG...it just dawned on me...is Robin modeled after Robin Hood? His costume is kind of like that...in a way.

Yes sir general...but G-2 reports this douche has been trying to kiss Art's ass for a longtime. Read some of his stuff. I am surprised this phoney has been flying under the radar as long as he has! His nonsense about him and Art and his I am sure imaginary wife in cebu and his sooo very recent discovery of his "gay" son to his dating black women in neighborhoods where when he'd go, "to pick up my girl for a date got my ass kicked because they said I was going to get one of their girls"  but he felt it was ok. He deserved it and it made him feel better getting his ass kicked. Made him a better man, and a ton of racist and anti-American crap and his, I was once a conservative then I  grew up and realized...blah, blah, blah. He is a sad sick little nothing. I love to get a thread like flackies for him, because like the fat boy this guy is so full of shit and just can't help himself from vomiting it for all to see. Most likely a sick little puppy.

He also took on a gang of 5 I believe but said he was willing to die to protect others, or some such bullshit, dude I fought in the ring nobody's taking out 5 except in the movies or with a gat.

Adam West's autobiography book "Back to the Batcave" has fascinating info - its expensive at amazon now though, when I got it years ago it was cheap.

Looks like Burt Ward has his own book too: Boy Wonder: My Life in Tights

Well it might be my age showing but if we have a Gov't Media relationship that allows this, anything is possible. When I was young you could mostly believe our leaders. Not now, sad.

Art

But the government had nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11. Cos they are trust worthy and they have a big heart and feel all our pain. Just ask the kids at waco if u can get an evp of them.

Although they (PBS, BBC, CBC, NPR, etc) still produce good programming as a news source the publicly funded entities seem to have an agenda, depending on the station/country. In the States with our NPR/PBS is more of a bent toward social issues but that depends on the administration etc. An example: recently a controversy over Frontline dropping a show about gambling (allegedly due to Chinese and Adelson influence and threats of lawsuits.) Other countries face even worse legal (and otherwise) situations and so reporters have to be "very careful" if they haven't already been already bought-out. Al-J, RT, the Jewish news services, etc have a more outright political agenda but still can be a good source. As with anything, follow the money and know the agenda. Much of the news, besides weather (and even there maybe  ;) considering local Chambers of Commerce for a 4th of July weekend or HAARP/Chemtrails  ;) ,) are press releases from corporations or governments.

"Of course" we all know the only good news source is Norry's news update segment on C2C that he just looked up on Drudge, WND, or Yahoo news and speed-dialed his "experts."

RoseGirl

You see, I think the mistake here is in assuming news agencies have ever had anything what-so-ever to do with the gathering of real news. I've been in the newsprint industry for many a year now and I can tell you with complete certainty that all news agencies answer to a money agenda, a big-business command system and a political elite. That is what they are....really, they have never been about real news...ever. They are the voice box for who ever has the most money or influence.

Question everything, and if they say you cannot question it, ask why you cannot question it.  Truth does not fear investigation.[/size]

Mainstream news in North America has no credibility.  They are nothing more but cheerleaders for the pharmaceutical/prison/military industrial complex.  They will cheerfully go along with their pom-poms to promote the latest foreign war, and promote the war on non-pharmaceutical drugs to fill prisons with slave labor, while they push dangerous pharmaceuticals that cause all sorts of horrific health problems and tragedies.

Juan

Remember that NPR stories and PBS stories are funded by grants - not just the networks, the individual stories.  My friends in those newsrooms say that the funding sources do not dictate the content of the story, but if Planned Parenthood, for instance, funded a story on abortion, the natural state of things would be for the story to be favorable towards Planned Parenthoot.

Actually it's worse.  People in newsrooms now are too ignorant in all areas to be a cheerleader for anything.  They cut and paste press releases and think they are writing a story.
