Quite possibly, this game is the best wrestling game ever...

WWE '13 - The Green Bastard

Hi Drone.
Time to resurrect this thread.

Gamers... DOSBox works OK in wine for playing your old ROMs, but check out this Complete OS I happened across. If you have an old box laying around that you were just going to trash, you might consider turning it into a gaming rig.

I haven't tried this myself, but I know there are some people here that are into the old games, plus I just wanted to drop a marker for later. ;)

VIDEO GAMES ARE ILLUMINATI! THEY ARE USED TO DISTRACT THE SHEEPLE PEOPLE AND EVIL CORPORATIONS, THEY BRAINWASH THE SHEEPLE PEOPLE WITH SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES LIKE BE PRO WAR AND KILL, EVIL CORPORATIONS LIKE SONY STEAL WANT YOUR MONEY, IT CAN GET BORING PLAYING, AND ETC.

THE ILLUMINATI CARDS PREDICT THE FUTURE! ONE OF THE CARDS IS VIDEO GAMES.

Yeah.

Anyway, Lakka looks pretty interesting. Apparently, it also has LiveUSB capabilities!

Very cool idea, I gotta try this.  I do in fact have a box sitting around I don't know what to do with.

Don't know if this is the right thread for this, but it's not a bad setup for $600.00.  Fairly recent article too

http://www.businessinsider.com/what-you-need-to-build-a-cheap-powerful-gaming-pc-2016-8

From the article:
"   Here's the list of parts in one convenient place.

Case: $45 from Newegg.

Processor: $183 from SuperBizz.

Graphics card: $205 from Newegg.

Motherboard: $52 from Newegg.

RAM: $30 from Best Buy.

SSD: $65 from Newegg.

Power supply unit: $21 from Newegg.

Note that I haven't included the cost of a monitor, keyboard, mouse, or the Windows operating system. One of the best online resources to find the right parts for the best price is a website called pcpartpicker.com. It'll cost you extra if you don't have any of these things. But if you don't have a spare monitor on hand, you could use your TV.    "

I'd check Amazon or eBay for the CPU though, as the prices at superbizz are somewhat high.  ;)

I wish some of the devs that make sports games would return to PC (Madden, NHL, etc..). Since M$ is taking steps into bridging the gap between PC and Xbox, sports and a few console-exclusive titles are all that's different at this point. If this wasn't the case, I'd be running a PC for everything.

Lakka is a good one. Makes everything super easy with the bluetooth enabled Pi's
