Yeah, I heard that also. I am no Meteorologist, but using plain old common sense I said to myself "Maybe there was a change in atmospheric conditions? I think the weather does change from time to time..."

Man, this guy is DUMB!

George asks why there were the same number of planes yesterday as today, but apparently no contrails yesterday.  It's called relative humidity, jackass.

Agreed. The persons on this board are very clever and witty, so I am not sure how or why this "Dave" thing has taken hold. It's just dumb and silly. I think some may have been infected with SNooritis. Hopefully, they will get better soon...

The whole "Dave" thing is wearing thin. Its like a cold pizza roll. Tasteless and non-lethal. I'd hate to confuse anyone, in particular, noory himself. George is abit of a dunce, as you well know. I'd hate for him to think we've moved on and have another victim to smack around. Nope, I want noory to know, it is HIM that Im put out with. I want him to know it is he who screwed up what was once a damn fine radio program. I want noory to understand he is to blame. Not Dave, Greg, Henry, or Melvin. George Frickin' Noory!! Thank you and we now return you to tonights program, Dead guys on parade.

Is it just me or does the whole "Dave" thing seem kinda lame? QUIT IT! It's not funny nor does it makes sense from a comical perspective.  >:(

Democrats voted for the amendment by a 111-to-83 margin. Republicans, meanwhile, split 134 to 93 against it.

Liberal or Conservative, you should be insane with rage that 217 members of Congress voted to keep the NSA spying on your family and your friends. Remember that old scrap of paper called the Constitution? It says this is illegal.

Don't care if you are Democrat or Republican. Any politician that voted NAY on the AMASH Amendment needs to be voted out in 2014.

I am growing weary of "He Smells" B Wells's use of the term "Mothership." A caller asked last nite "John B - Permission to come aboard the Mothership." What the eff is that about? Are we in a bad ST re-run? And, his chuckling laugh as if that is a substitute for a decent interview. Wells has a great radio voice, but that is the best I can say about him.
#216

Yep  - 80% incumbents re-elected. I am a staunch Conservative (NOT a Republican). I see that the gas-bag McConnell is getting a primary challenger - Pray that the primary challenger wins. Do you EVER see that within the Democrat Party? Hell no, they have spines and vote their beliefs and are not ashamed.

Quote from: Tinfoil Hat on July 21, 2013, 08:38:21 AM
Hard to argue with that, Ruteger.
#217

No, it has not always been this crappy. Things have gotten so much worse. Two terms of Obama should tell you how effing stupid the American Voters have become. My hat is off the to liberal/socialist/democrats - you won. Your agenda of the dumbing down of the American populace has succeeded.

I'd like to interject and ask was the world/country always this shitty? or am i just noticing it now? I'm only 28 and only really started caring about/keeping abreast with politics/world events in the last 5 years or so... I know it's easy to look back with nostalgia... but objectively was the world this shitty? or did we just not have all the information that the internet allows us to have now? There certainly wasn't the level of distrust in the government 20 years ago that there is now...

Snoory's contract extended forever - the USA has become an Idiocracy.
#219

Another thought - if your Leftist pals in Academia cannot even run their own education system properly, and make it affordable for the average American, what will they do with the US economy which is a gazillion times bigger and more complex?!

And when these same egg-heads have their mitts on ObamaCare?

You're a schmuck.  Conservatism, which by its very nature refuses evidence against its philosphy, is sociopathy incarnate.
Here's why college is so friggin' expensive:

Amongst many things are huge cuts in state and federal support and the colleges going on building sprees to attract students.

Unions.  People trying to make the most out of their workplace? A crime against capitalism.  Same old tired conservative complaint.

Sorry, but I disagree. Again, I must state the obvious fact that "Liberalism IS a mental disorder." Liberalism/Fabian Socialism (insanity) is voting for the same political philosophy that has repeatedly FAILED time and time again in various governments around the world that have embraced it. The tools that voted Hussein Obama into office TWICE, think "Oh yeah, we got the right guy this time! He's smart! He'll be the One to finally make it work." How's that Hoax and Chains workin' out for ya? Sorry, but Mao, Stalin, Hitler, Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal, etc all tried and failed.

Capitalism is not perfect - and it never will be, but it's made America the greatest nation to ever have existed.

I am confused. Academia is dominated by Democrats, Leftists, Socialists and Communists, yet tuition is being hiked beyond belief so the poor cannot afford to attend college - a Capitalist's Wet Dream!

Liberalism IS a Mental Disorder....
Democrats Hike Interest Rates on Student LoansJuly 10, 2013

Windows MediaBEGIN TRANSCRIPTRUSH: "A Senate bill that would freeze a low interest rate on one type of federal student loan for another year," failed to clear a vote just this afternoon.  So, the interest rate, instead of going down to 3.4%, is going to stay at 6.8%.  I'll give you the history of this thing.  I'm just whetting your appetite with this. I'm not gonna go into details, but this was all a campaign issue.  When the Democrats, one of the first pieces of legislation they wrote was to cut the student loan rate temporarily and then have it jump back up last summer. In the campaign of 2012, the student loan rate was supposed to go up 6.8%, make it look like the Republicans were to blame for it, a campaign issue for Obama.
They had the Republicans by the shorts, in a sense. They were gonna lower it then last summer back down to 3.4%, which is what it was.  And the effort to get it back down to 3.4% has continued to fail.  Imagine that.  Washington just can't bring itself to return any money to anybody.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH:  Okay, here's the student loan news.  "A Senate bill," and Democrats run the Senate "A Senate bill that would freeze a low interest rate on one type of federal student loan for another year, along with buying lawmakers more time to craft a long-term strategy for setting all education loan interest rates, failed to clear a procedural vote Wednesday afternoon. That bounces the issue back to negotiations yet again, as lawmakers try to reach a consensus before the August recess, at which point most students will have to lock in their loans for the coming school year. The vote was 51 in favor and 49 opposed, not enough to advance the bill. The failed key test vote came after contentious discussions Tuesday, much of it between Democrats who have been split on the issue."
Split on the issue?  Why, what does that tell you?  Why, that tells you that some Democrats want the student loan interest rate kept at 6.8%.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: Back to this student loan business.  The key vote came after contentious discussions on Tuesday, much of it between Democrats that have been split on the issue.  "At the weekly Democratic caucus luncheon, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) harshly criticized Sen. Joe Manchin III (D-W.Va.) for sponsoring a bill with Republicans that would tie interest rates for all major federal education loans to market rates but would not impose a formal cap on how high those rates could go in future years."
So the Democrats couldn't come to an agreement on this.  And as they say here, they've got until next month to get this done before everybody leaves.  So you students counting on your best buds, the Democrats, to lower your interest rate for you, they couldn't even come to an agreement on that yesterday. Conservatives like myself at one time supported Cheney and Bush. We now admit we made a HUGE mistake and realize these a-holes are NWO tools. I wish the Obama-bots would do the same.

Dick Cheney is a bad guy, but he is a boss. Within the Republican party, no one steps up to him, even with his having an ultra-butch, gay daughter. He should technically be in jail, but he isn't and he wrote a book boasting about it. While I don't agree with his neo-conservative foreign policy, I wish he could have focused those talents on tackling domestic problem (except for hunting).
#226

I did not - to my regret. But, to the avg person, you do not expect these things to happen...I have looked out the same window thousands of time...
#227
I am not making this up.

Fireworks display over for at least 30 mins. I am sitting on my bed looking out from the 11th floor of my condo overlooking Long Beach harbor/Queen Mary. All of a sudden an orange light appears. It travels horizontally for a couple minutes. There was a police helicopter flying surveillance in circles in my direct area. I can't believe they did not see. The light goes vertical then fades away. Before that this same helicopter I saw being tailed by a black cylindrical object maybe 2 feet in length as it passed by my window. the object kept pace with the helicopter.

I have no idea what I witnessed, but it wasn't fireworks or a stray plastic bag.

I refuse to listen to any C2C show that has Hoaxland on as a guest. What a condescending POS. The arrogance! The Piano and feather question totally embarrassed Snoory. If I was Snoory, I would have immediately cut Hoaxland off the air, and on a private line said in no uncertain terms - "You little cocksucker. You play that game one more time, you will be erased from C2C history, like Stalin did to his enemies."

Quote from: onan on July 03, 2013, 01:57:54 PM

George assumed the feather was in the piano. So his logic makes sense.

Politics / Re: ObamaCare Mandate Delayed Until 2015
July 03, 2013, 05:51:26 PM
How can Obama delay implementation by executive fiat a law that was passed by Congress? Doesn't Congress have to approve changes to a bill passed by Congress? What about separation of powers? As usual, the spineless GOP have no backbone to contest such flagrant un-Constitutional abuses of power, and which is why they will lose the House in 2014.

At this point I would rather have Putin as POTUS. At least he has (or seems to have)a sense of national pride and a love for the Russian People and their culture. Conversely, Obama hates America, its people, capitalism and the US Constitution.

No, I am sorry but  they are terrorists. Have you viewed the video showing one of the peace-loving rebels cutting the heart out of another human being and EATING it?

Quote from: Yorkshire pud on June 16, 2013, 01:36:05 PM

It's interesting you refer to them as terrorists. They're rebelling against a tyrannical dictator. Or do you think the Russian backed Assad should be given moral if not military support?
#233

Do you think the ARs Obama sends to the terrorists will only include a 10-round magazine, and have the auto-fire disabled like he and his Democrat minions mandate for law-abiding Americans?

Quote from: Paper*Boy on June 15, 2013, 12:41:20 PM

Correct.  Obama has been very clear all along about who his friends are and who his enemies are.

Listened to "He smells" B Wells last night for a few minutes. As usual he was awful. His guest talked for for a few minutes. When it was Wells's turn to respond, all he could do was make that stupid low-voice laugh of his, and after that some insipid comment. No meaningful or logical response. Tuned my radio to white noise and went back to sleep.

I would say if sNoorge was a plane it would fly poorly, and the engines would sputter resembling sounds like "geeze", "Absolutely", "Well isn't that the truth", "There's no doubt about that", "Achh!"

Liberalism is a mental disorder. How the English men (and women) can let this happen to their own country and sit idly by makes no sense unless you understand it as a mental disorder.

Quote from: Paper*Boy on May 23, 2013, 09:22:54 PM

I recall years back now, something about British school children no longer being served traditional Hot Cross Buns on Good Friday for the same reason.

Shouldn't the first rule of immigrants be that they fit in to their new country, not demand it be the other way around.  Giving in to this stuff is seen as a sign of weakness and will only encourage more demands and radicalization.  These troublemakers need to be better screened before arriving, and if they get past that, returned home.

They've been done a favor being granted access to someone else's country, to have been brought in to the modern world.  They aren't owed anything - just the opposite.  Their death cult religion can not to be catered to without negative consequences down the road.
