Check out my last post above. For some reason it didn't quote right but I did answer ya!

I like flies and especially like imagining all the people slapping the shit out of their monitor!--)))
oops!  got it fixed for you.  you've gotta go in and manually add in those opening/closing quote tags if you plan to add more than just the one quote which automatically gets tagged for you by the system.

leo laporte was one of the channels i've taken a look at on roku.  i've been a leo listener for a long time, but i listen more for the hosts who appear on his podcast network than i do for him.  in particular, i tune in for windows weekly.  love paul thurrott.

How To Use BellGab / Reading Unread Posts
December 05, 2009, 11:46:30 PM
Most of you probably already know about this, but I'm certain there are those who don't.

When you return to this forum, you probably want to see what you've missed.  The best scenario would be a consolidated list of threads containing new posts since your last visit.  There's a link for that.

In the main menu is an item labeled "Unread Topics".  Click it, and you shall have the aforementioned list.

Want to specifically view new replies to your posts?  It's "Unread Replies" in the menu.  For best results, click on the little "NEW" icons.

heh yeah i clearly remember that avatar.  i kept meaning to mention it but never did.

oh boy.  the first thing i notice when i see this is the soft, cushiony toilet seat.  absolutely disgusting.  i am repulsed by soft, cushioned toilet seats.  nothing makes me feel more violated.  they are nothing more than the bacterial version of a top floor penthouse.  you need something hard, easily cleanable, and non-porous if you'd like to sit on something other than a festering petri-dish full of microbial life forms all having sex with one another.

each TV in my house has one!
so do you mean you can hook multiple roku players up to a single netflix account?  or do you have to have separate netflix accounts for each player?

What do you think of the new channels added?
let's just say that the new channels are free, and i think they're free for a reason.  heh heh.  actually, some of the new channels are ok, but then some really blow mule shaft.

IM looking forward to the rumored high profile channels to be added down the road and then DTV can kiss my ass!
agreed.  i REALLY wish roku could start a hulu channel.  i don't think that's going to happen, though... especially if hulu goes behind a pay wall as is rumored to be happening next year.  if that DOES happen, hulu will become but a faint memory to me.  i will cease to care.

i never did sell the GNS site.  never found a buyer.  the only thing for sale is the georgenoorysucks.com doman name.  the content is all right here being used for coastgab.

glad to see you around again.  despite your number of posts, i DO in fact remember you from round 1.  hope you become a regular.

remember: when in doubt... post.

Archive of Old Threads / I am an obscure Asian actress.

I just uploaded a headshot of myself to this facial recognition engine.  I wanted to see what celebrity it might think I resemble.  It apparently thinks I'm either Ueto Aya or Son Ye-jin.

That's lovely.  Just lovely.

So who does it think you are?

Update:  I just uploaded a picture of Hitler and it detected John Kerry.  Hmm.  I'm sort of starting to like this thing.

...he mentioned something about the 'face' being a C3PO type of being?  It wasn't a comment in passing to be amusing or anything, he was serious and went on to such ridiculous theories afterwards...
you've got to be fucking kidding me.  the seas will part if i can hear audio of this.  holy christ on a popsicle stick.

Perverse!  Down here in Tejas there is borderline panic because there is a possible chance it might snow down on the gulf coast.  By snow they mean little pellet-granules and chance they mean MAYBE a skiffing half-inch of it.  Still, I think the local govs are in standby mode to send the vermin home from school and call out the guard in the apocalyptic event it does (shudder) SNOW.

Let me know if you should have any questions about the WD TV Live player.  I also am an owner of their earlier model, WD TV (no live), so I have a fair amount of experience.
will do.  first i have to convince nabila to let me buy one.

blackberry runs on an operating system that feels like it was developed in the 1920s.  the iPhone would be great if not for the problems mentioned above by the mordred.  other than the iPhone, i'm not familiar enough with what att offers to make a suggestion there.  if i were you, mordred, i'd be moving to verizon and snatching up the new droid.  not the one from htc... but the one with the keyboard from motorola.

god, what's the world come to?  i'm recommending a motorola phone.  holy shite.

wow.  i must admit i've not paid attention to anything happening on TV in so long that i was unaware of this sort of scheduling nuisance.  jesus.  i hope that doesn't happen with V.  if it does, i'll lose patience for the whole thing and just forget about it until a few years later when i can watch it all in one fell swoop (as i did with the entire sopranos series).

;D   Thanks for that, I love The Graham Norton Show.  Ironically enough I first saw it on BBC America  before I saw it in Australia, which is odd because we usually get a lot of the British shows.
i'd not seen this show prior to this clip.  however, i must say that i really admire and enjoy british comedic sensibilities.  australian approaches to comedy strike me in the same way as well.

Hey MV:

Did you look close at your Mars photo?  There IS a face, by God and it answers SOOOO many questions!

**M**
the face when originally discovered was shown in a picture where the sunlight only lit the "face-like" half of the structure.  when new pictures were eventually taken in which the entire face could be seen, it seems it became pretty clear that it was all bullshit.  however, hoagland just can't let it go.  it's his entire reason for bathing daily (which might be an assumption).

although the "face" in this pic is interesting, i think it's nothing more than a geological anomaly.  there are plenty of examples of this on earth.  furthermore, the other structures in cydonia (the "pyramid" etc.) seem even less impressive to me.
