What is "non-local consciousness?"
You missed nothing. Schwartz was awful. Typical stuff and didn't, at least until I stopped listening, get into the usual "woo" of "quantum." Just usual stuff about kind thoughts and "wellness."  LBGTI, anti-nuke, and whatever social justice stuff thrown in. And lots of references to Quakers, MLK, Gandhi, Buddha,- even what would Jesus would do! Then ranting about the usual absurd socialist stuff: trying to compare Norway to the USA.  ;D   He, like most, ignore all major factors: genetics, homogeneous country vs a "melting pot," vast oil&gas reserves and sovereign wealth fund, immigration policy and borders, very small population (many of our cities have more people than the entire country of Norway,) diet, and weather. (And high taxes.) He also claimed that Norway doesn't have socialized medicine?  ;) This is not a political opinion by me about socialism or healthcare methodologies- but just that the frequent comparison between countries like Norway and the USA are patently absurd.

Norry didn't push back on anything except "what if they don't want people to live" and how "his ideas" will apply to the Iran situation.

Tip for any of you in Coast2Coast death pools. Peter Davenport. Last night George introduced him and asked him how he was, Peter replied 'I'm exhausted' WTF who appears on a radio show and answers a perfunctory 'how are you?' question with 'I'm exhausted'? George responds chortling 'Well hang in there you'll get through it' So Peter goes into his usual recounting of thoroughly boring UFO reports and he does sound kind of bad, though to be honest he never sounds really good.

He makes it through his bit and then George does the send off and I'm not sure if I heard right but it sure sounded like Peter called George 'John'.

Morgus

I see neither Noory nor the weekend hosts have any guests at all scheduled in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.
It appears only Hoagie on his show this weekend is doing something about the moon...

Morgus

Though c2cam and MITD aren't doing any guests/topics on the moon landing anniversary this week, looks like tonight Clyde Lewis Ground Zero at least has a guest on about possible moon landings hoax.

Jorch is doing his listeners a favor, other than for the unintentional laughs Jorch would generate with some kind of botched tribute to the Moon landing, like UFO Phil doing some kind of damnable squalling about it.

Clyde seemed to be just stumbling through this week, taking his former producer Twyman's death hard.  Last night's moon landing hoax attempt was pretty lame.

What a bore that guy is. Every appearance is the same. Endless reading from his list of wellness rules.  The last straw was him shitting on old TV show. What kind of soul-less hyena shits on Leave it to Beaver?

Yeah. I thought "WTF, who doesn't like old tv shows like 'Leave it to Beaver? What kind of killjoy is that?"  I also note how "surprised" he was about "social change" and had it, mostly, reversed. He saw all the broken families, LBQTI etc, as a result of society's "social change" and not the reverse (that Hollywood pushed the "social change" via their programming and political donations.)  He seemed like a very annoying person to hang-out with- as if he is the only one who has traveled or lived in other countries, as he seemed to brag about and pointing out incessantly the "badness" of the USA and the people, old television, etc.

Where is Richard Syrett?  Why will he not be back until September?  Was he J.B'd Wells?  Did he get shipped to Boston?   Will he begin September as the new full-time host of Coast?  So many unanswered questions. . . .

He’s too good for the show. His conspiracy show is the real deal. ;)

Glass Half-Full: he has his own show(s) and jobs, Canadians- like Euros- often take vacations in August etc, he likes to spend time with his family and doesn't want to over work, and his deal was always just a few weekends everyso often.
Glass Half-Empty: Tommee has realized that Syrett is much better than Norry. iHate Media, Inc paralegals have noticed that Syrett will take actual callers- sometimes with 'controversial' views or opinions. Norry has noticed that Syrett doesn't promote "big events," "beets," or various "supplements" side-companies. Canadian pressure groups, or government, is concerned that Syrett takes calls and believes in free speech.

Ha!  "Beets."  Maybe a killer beet got to Syrett.

Syrett allows me to enjoy Coast and think like Art did.  I appreciate that.  I guess for August we have Ian, I like him, and blue rock Willis.

Yes, it did sound like he said John.  He really must have been tired.  Aw, c'mon, Cronkite.  I expect a paid host to always respond positively to How Are You (barring serious illness or death in the family).  Yeah, the paid host should.  But, guests?  Well, I don't know. I like the way he sounds.  And, I kind of liked his response for being down-to-earth.  Besides, it gave Jorch a chance to play nurse for a minute.  That's always sexy!

There weren't any Poc and a character named "Whitey Whitney" is obviously a dog-whistle for the Klan/Neo-nazis

And Lumpy? We know what that name really meant.

It's now been a year since the last guest appearance by Mike Bara (not counting News Segment quickies). I'm sure he'd have been lobbying like hot shit to get a spot to plug his latest horrible book (about the Bermuda Triangle, as if the dozen books in print about it are not enough). COULD IT BE that Bara, like his former co-author, is persona non grata at the C2C lubianka?

In other news, Rosemary Ellen Guily carked it.

Have you thought about being a guest on Coast, the Anti-Bara?

Joorch just made this remarkable claim for whichever C Crane radio he was touting...

“The audio is legible.”
