This is legitimately fascinating, and likely deserves its own thread--but then the Failke Bots would simply descend and render it unusable.

Does anyone know how one goes about posting audio-only tweets? Via Periscope for iPhone??

I have Android and iOS devices, so any advice on how to do so - on either - is appreciated.

Even Amazon news is being forced to counter the argument by the Democrats that we need so many criminal illegals because "they do American jobs Americans won't do," despite the first claim being somewhat wrong, Amazon is forced to admit that robotics and automation is even going to replace those low-skill, labor-intensive agriculture jobs.  Certainly a situation that will work out beautifully and peaceful. A bunch of uneducated illegals, with no loyalty- even some animosity towards- the country and its people, and now without jobs....

A resource I am slowly clawing through.  Recently found out a second cousin's father worked at Los Alamos.

W..... T..... HOLY F.....

No one seems to know anything.  Someone claimed he only "pushed a broom."

Yet the photo I saw of him taken during that time resembled a simulacrum of William S. Burroughs playing "Let's dress up like a government spook and suck on a peyote button."

That's a potent broom-pusher.

Sounds like a good cover.  I hear this guy only played the bongos and picked locks for a hobby.

Who the Fuch(s) is that?  8)

He appears to be a ~fine man~, and a scholar...

I am reminded of this gentleman:

What is in the schools? New elementary being build and I drove by and, yep, noticed drop out in AM and even in XM. Almost all schools seems to have this. Also some post offices it would seem. Accounting for powerlines I dismissed a few but now it seems a common thing. If you drive and are listening to XM, also AM, but especially XM it will drop around schools, hospitals, etc even without obvious powerlines or such. Strange?

Today, my OnePlus 6T arrived.  So excited.  I'm replacing an LG V20 I've had for well over 2 years.  In 9 years of Android use, I've never been so happy to get rid of any particular phone.  I'll never buy another LG device.  Complete rubbish.

I think you'll be pleased with it.

I got a 5T when they were released and I've been happy with the choice.  Coming from a Nexus 6, I really appreciate that OnePlus doesn't go overboard with trying to "customize" Android like some manufacturers are wont to do. They pretty much leave it stock with small improvements.

Anyway got back and online and noticed that now my firefox browser no longer supports all my extensions due to an 'update.' Interestingly the blocked apps are things that block pop-ups, allow d/l from youtube, force https, proxies, etc, even the EFF app is "no longer supported." Wonder who got to Mozilla?

There's supposed to be an update within a few days or less. I found a fix here for my add-ons for Windows 10, so you can try this and set it back to "normal" later on:

https://adblockplus.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=65910&sid=36c28b9c69e6ec4a411ed9baa57fa1c5&start=45

I gave this integer a value of 0 and they all enabled.

app.update.lastUpdateTime.xpi-signature-verification;0

Also, you might have to do a few more simple changes, example below, but the one above was required for my add-ons to work again. I did try other fixes I didn't change back to default settings before doing "the fix" above, so it may require a combination of fixes to work??? Someone posted "the fix" below worked for Linux, but it didn't work for my Windows 10 w/o the additional change I noted above.

You have to go to ABOUT:CONFIG and change a setting from "TRUE" to "FALSE". (Double click it)

Just copy this text, on the line below, then PASTE it into the SEARCH box on the ABOUT:CONFIG

xpinstall.signatures.required

There are many other possible fixes listed there for Linux or Windows, etc.

Other fixes here from Mozilla/Firefox:

I recall a decade or so ago some malls in the UK were playing classical music in certain places to drive off undesirables and "youths."  Here some of our places play 'hawk sounds' to drive away the grackles (birds that mass up and crap everywhere.)
Well, they blasted 'Death Metal' at the Branch Davidians- 24 /7.     (I'd have been jammin.  :)  )
(Death Metal isn't bad, but it's not great, either)
Oh, and BTW, Grackles are useless leeches that I shoot on sight. (Yes, I always carry, as a matter of habit.)
They have no place in the food chain.

Of course you can find no quotation of my ever conflating you with "Russian communists", so the creative paranoia factory is back in your projection booth again.

Hold on a second - Doc is correct, but it takes critical thinking to understand what is being said.

In other words, add something that is actually useful to the conversation, will ya ?

Been there, done that.

Remember when Huawei wouldn't let the NSA, or the GCHQ  plant back-doors in their equipment ?
Then remember the smear campaign against Huawei on the MSM implying they had back-doors ?

I’ve been using an external hard drive on a lan cable hooked to my network switch. I’d like to have this drive seeable by all of my computers but have only one of the computers with internet access. I know nothing about networking other than how to plug in cables. I’ll ask if this is something that is possible to do before diving into learning about networks. If it can’t be done, can I set up an old computer as a server and put the data on that and achieve the Internet isolation?

Liberace will probably be able to answer this!

Does anyone else use hotmail?  I'm moving away from it because it seems to bog down or get slow.  In the meanwhile, how can I auto-delete one page of email?  I don't want to delete the whole email history, and that's why happens when I click on the delete circle sample icon.
