I first heard Panera bragging in a TV commercial food about how their food was "clean."  Well I hope so, and it seemed to be an odd way of pushing their stuff.  Turns out their idea of "clean" was as expressed in the linked article below.  Still seems to be a screwball way to describe what they think they're doing, though.
