I've never had anything like this happen to me personally but I've read about them before.
I find it fascinating yet chilling in other ways just entertaining the thought of the possibility that this can be.

Depending upon ones' belief system concerning the paranormal and their own take on spirituality - there could be
multiple possibilities to account for such events and each individual will have to draw their own conclusion as to such.
Thanks for sharing that.

i wish this thread had taken off.  we've had several attempts to create a real-time thread where people comment on the live c2c show as it's happening.  however, they've all withered, including this one.  i guess it's because most of us don't really listen to the live show enough to facilitate such a thread.  maybe if we were to get a huge surge in users, it could work.

I see.

The live show is the only way that I listen - however infrequent that may be these days.
Definitely listen less now than I did when Art was on.
I like listening to it live because you never know when something interesting is breaking in real time like
the night when officers were following the triangular crafts moving from county to county and each in turn
would pick up the chase until it disappeared.
Now  that was an interesting night.  8)

I don't know.  I think they are making hybrids.  Have you ever noticed just how much Asians look like greys?  They have super high test scores, pioneer many technologies and are virtually hairless.  My husband is Korean and I've almost convinced him.   ;D

from time to time, i like to drag this out for those who haven't heard it.  it's art talking about noory on his ham radio shortly after snoors moved to los angeles.

Thanks MV
I've never heard it.

At this point, I'd welcome a full show with Steve Quayle. His nonstop prattle about evil giants and inside sources is complete nonsense, of course. He *is* entertaining, though. There's nothing worse than a boring crank.

Yes...
and look at it this way - the longer Quayle speaks the less time Noory does.  8)

Random Topics / Re: What happened to C2C Bumper Music?

I am a Coast To Coast Fanatic (well... an Art Bell show fanatic) and one of my favorite things about C2C was the eclectic choice of music that fit the topic and the mood of the show so well. Plus as a 25 year old, a lot of C2C's music was music I hadn't heard before and it introduced me to some new stuff I like (MV's Bumper Music page is excellent) Also a lot of Art's music just flat out rocked. Ride My Sea Saw with the crazy guy reading the poem is one of my favorite openings of all time.

However now whenever I tune in, the music is all so painfully lame. It's slow whiny emotional music that sounds like something a depressed 50 year divorcee would listen to. I listen to C2C in my car at night (I'm a total night person) and the music is often so cringe worthy I have to change the station.

What do you guys think?

Well I think you're spot on.

Always loved hearing RMS as Art kicked things off - kind of electified the opening
and laid out the nights' vibe.

These days like so many others here I tend to find myself not listening addictively anymore
but rather choosing individual shows based on topic more than anything else.

As far as the bumper music goes - most of it these days are about as appetizing as a steaming bowl of shite... albeit
music may definitely in the ear of the beholder - that doesn't necessarily mean that my ears need this particular beholding.  ;)

Quote from: mylesstam on September 07, 2010, 03:28:34 PMHow can't a person have seen Blade Runner? Especially someone as connected to the beat of the common man like Noory.

Great point... and to not have had the pleasure would be a shame.
Had the fortune to see it in 82 and minds were definitely blown.

Archive of Old Threads / Hey
September 07, 2010, 12:06:30 PM
New here and wasn't sure where to put it.

Must say this site reinforces my displeasure with the current way that
the c2c ship is being run - not as a whole but a monumental chunk to be sure.
Happy to have stumbled my way here.

Shout out to fellow fans and saying hey to everybody.
