I haven't even heard several of those, and they are already annoying.

Not a specific word, but I am annoyed that people think their opinions on topics they know little about are valid - even if it's a topic they've just learned about that instant.

Suck a dick! I know you know how! ;D

Most of mine that come to mind immediately are marketing terms:

"On trend"

"Curated" - a list that is put together

"Organic" - as in, "our audience is growing organically"

I agree with mostly everything PB started with. The exception for me is the use of cool beans and kiddo.  They don't irk me in any way.  Nonetheless I would like to add:

dank

I've heard that said so much over recent years describing anything that's good.  I always thought it meant musty or dark, moldy, etc.  I've worked with many younger people who say things like...

"I had the most dank tacos last night."

I assumed they meant the tacos were bad, but no.  Apparently they were good.

Justice. It's a unicorn. Stop using it. Stop pretending.

Channeled/Channels ala the Yahoo Home Page article that says "<Insert Modern Day skank here> channels <whomever>"

*EDIT ~ I gave credit to PB when it should've been given to nooryisawesome.  My apologies.

Oh!  I also add totally to the list.

Going forward or on a go forward basis.  At least it rules out time travel.

Yes, I can see how you would be offended with that post.

I assumed it was aimed at me. Just part of your ongoing hissy fit. ;)

"Double down", when they should say "double up".

One never heard the phrase "double down" outside the context of casino blackjack until maybe 20 yrs. ago.  Now the only time I hear "double up" is by Jerry Hickey announcing the specials at Invite Health on WOR.

"Up" is the preposition you usu. use for increase.  "Double down" would make sense if it alluded to a situation akin to that in blackjack, doubling one's effort at something in return for a guarantee to go no farther.  But nobody means it that way.  Apparently what happened was that, during a boom in popularity in casino blackjack 2 decades ago or so, a lot of people heard that phrase, lifted it from that context, & plugged it into contexts where "double up" (or maybe just "double") would've been said previously.
