I like him a lot, but he’s a better actor than the producers allow him to be. Compare him in Layer Cake to him as Bond.

1. Connery
2. Brosnan/Craig tie
3. Moore
4. Lazenby
5. Dalton

Yes I would put Lazenby above Dalton. On Her Majesty’s Secret Service is excellent too.
What no mention of David Niven (or the cast of others who played 007 in an attempt to fool the bad guys" in "Casino Royale?")

It will be an outstanding outing.  Craig may be my favorite Bond.  Connery is iconic, but Craig has that violence that explodes in such a satisfying way.

Mmm...exploding violence...

Hell, I'd put him above Moore too, who admitted he played the role as satire.

I don't know what it is about Lazenby.  He seems to get the red headed step child treatment re: his turn as Bond.  Moore, always seemed like a smartass.

Lazenby gets that treatment for 2 reasons.

1. He was the rebound guy after Connery.

I may have to agree with you, actually.

Exactly. My favorite Bond movie.

Well.   Yeah.

Lord Grantham

It's because he only did one movie. His advice to one of the others who were just starting out in the role was "Do more than one"

Only thing I'd change in the list is to move Moore to the bottom, don't really care for any of his except "For Your Eyes Only", and move Craig to the top.

Don't know about C2C but MV may be recruiting him for BellGab.

Ha yep. The sentence would seem to apply to some of the people on BG. I love the way the author phrased it. You don't usually get good, descriptive journalism these days.

Frikkin Canadians are probably too polite to ever question a red light.

Never mind. I got my answer from an expat in Mexico.

BTW - the answer is yes. Unless prohibited by a sign or a moose in a crosswalk. Or on the Isle of Montreal were it is illegal because everyone is smoking in the crosswalk.

Quebec is the most fun province to drive in.  ;)

I was surprised to learn that all 50 states allow right turn on red (except where prohibited by signage. It was pushed in the usual government way (you won't get Federal funds if you don't change the law. It was thought at the time a way to save gas.) I thought in MASS it was still illegal but apparently they finally passed it in 1980.
Question I have, in Texas, I ran into a rare situation in which there was a right turn arrow onto a 2 way street. Not just the usual traffic lights. I know red turn on red is legal but if the right-turn lane had a specific arrow light is it still legal on a 'red arrow?'

Googled it and see that it is LEGAL to turn on a red arrow (when safe to do so) unless the city ALSO has a sign prohibiting no right turn on red. This actually was a known issue and there was some news articles about the confusion because initially the local police said it was illegal but the state 'clarified' and said it was not, unless you put up a sign.

You think you are a witch and live in California, and are a slut. You are the most worthless of all. I bet you put grapefruits in that blown-out cooter of yours. :)

Question for the forum: Do your states allow left turns onto a one way from a red light if no traffic is oncoming? Because I can do that in Michigan.

We can do that here in NC if there is a left turn arrow and it is blinking yellow.

Kind of miss driving back home in Mich.  The whole concept of the Michigan Left flipped Mrs. Walks out the first
time she experienced it when we went up meet the family.
