Ha there was no way that ref was going to call a penalty against Russia late in the game when the Russian dude dragged the Spanish guy down in the box.

Would anyone guess Germany, Argentina, Portugal and Spain are all before the final 8. Yikes.

Back to the Group stage. I am not sure if I should be disappointing of them breaking their honorable nation reputation when they did a very dishonorable move of playing for a 1-0 loss knowing that might be enough. Or be impressed with their nation reputation of being very good at math and knowing they will probably get through even if they lose if they kept it 1-0   :o

I wish I could see that Mexico - Sweden game but I am usually asleep at that time.  Still, if I happen to wake up I might turn the telly on and see what's what.  I'd like to see Sweden win it, if for no other reason than that America's failed team members are pulling for Mexico.

What a horrible time to sleep. Priorities my friend  :D An insane morning. Who would have ever guessed Germany losing and out on the group stage. You would think who ever lost between Mexico and Sweden would be done. But wow!

BTW me and Shay are screwed from our little competition which we both had Germany winning it all. All of your picks are looking really strong.

Good game between Argentina and Nigeria, Argentina taking it 2 to 1.  Argentina's poor start in this World Cup could be to their advantage if, like Super Bowl contenders, they peak at the right time.

There should be more talk on the hand ball Argentina made during the end of the game. It was almost the EXACT same scenario that went against Portugal late in their game that forced them to be tied 1-1. Both plays had a player jumping for the ball with arms extended and ball deflecting off a head onto an arm. I can't see how you call it agaisn't one team and a day later not against the other. They really wanted a name team like Argentina in the knockout stage instead of a no-name African team.

Just another day in the life. .

There is a new Coast poll up today to timely reflect the outcome!

You all know that Norry won, but the numbers did not add up, whose fault is it:

1.  Art Bell's, he did it by EVP forces.

2.  Tommy, he got hungry and ate all of the ballots after he put peanut butter on them.

3. THE HATERS,

4.  Just like President Trump, the Russians.

5.  The Hackers.

6.  None of the above.

7.  All of the above.

8.  Any combination of the above.

9.  It dose not matter, the Premrat's extended my contract, I will be here until the end of time.  Gloat!  Gloat!

10.  There is always next year, and the next year, and the next year.  . .

Sure Levin won the popular vote. But Noory won the  Electoral College

Voting is through computers. C2C fans don't believe/have computers.

Computer voting isn't legit, we need Paper ballots. With special guest Bev Harris

That Japan-Senegal 2-2 game was a lot of fun

Russia was brought down to reality today with Uruguay

If you guessed both Spain and Portugal would tie their games today, I would accuse the fix is in lol. Who would have thought that.

Speaking of exaggerating injuries...

The World Cup brings Worlds Together

Switzerland pair Granit Xhaka and Xherdan Shaqiri face two-match bans for their goal celebrations in their side's World Cup victory over Serbia.

Football's world governing body Fifa is investigating whether they broke rules on political and offensive messages.

Both players are ethnic Albanians from Kosovo, where a Serbian crackdown on the Albanian population only ended with Nato military intervention in 1999.

"Furthermore, a preliminary investigation has been opened against the coach of the Serbian national team, Mladen Krstajic, for alleged statements made in the aftermath of the said match."

It is unclear what the investigation into Krstajic refers to, but in comments to Serbian reporters on Saturday, he said of match referee Felix Brych: "I wouldn't give him either a yellow or red card, I would send him to The Hague. Then they could put him on trial, like they did to us."

Anybody following the complete sh*t storm that happening with the Ottawa Senators

One player (Mike Hoffman) girlfriend has been secretly trolling/harassing another player (Erik Karlsson) wife online. Even mocking her for the death of her child.  WTF  :o

Hoffman was traded (twice) yesterday.

Oh yeah the teams Assistant GM has been charged with sexual harassment of a 19 year old guy. So who ever your favorite team is, I pretty sure not as messed up as this team lol.

Oh!  Does anyone besides me think that the Senegal goal was bullshit?  Why did the referee allow the substitute player to come in at that time of the attack and behind the defense?  I think Poland got robbed.

I always have a personal soft spot for Poland, because every Polish person I ever met they were all so nice. So Viva Polska even though their soccer teams are always eliminated in group stage  :'(

Looks like there should be a rule that sidelined injured players returning to the pitch should be allowed back on during the next available stoppage, like they do when a substitution is being made, or when a ball goes out of play.

I've always agreed with this. Would also probably cut down with exaggerating injuries is you know you might have to wait to get back in.

I picked Portugal in my Final, but they just don't like like a complete team. Morocco had way too much of the game against them.

I don't think the fix is in for Russia (yet) but the refs sure seem not going to go against them on any 50/50 calls with Putin looking down at them .

Belgium (with the exception of Russia) was the first dominate performance in the World Cup yesterday. For a few tournaments now people always had them as a "look out team" with strong talent but they always mess up along the way. Portugal had the reputation before the Euro 2 years ago, maybe Belgium can now step up?

I thought England was going to England and lose what should be a sure win. But Kane came through in the 90th minute. But let's face it, it would have been a lot more fun seeing the British media react to England losing to a "Where the heck is this  country from?" team of Tunisia

This morning Japan with a huge upset against Columbia. I would think Columbia would be an easy favorite in Group H

Three players in. Remember get your picks in before Group A/Game 2 starts with Russia and Egypt at 2pm est/ 11am pacific

I am happy for Ovi. I was certainly cheering for him (and the Caps) NHL has such a vanilla culture, always a fan of his personality and his style of play. He was always looked down to compared to Crosby, it was great to see him get his ring. Make it even more special is that he stayed loyal to the same, went through some heartbreaks but finally got his big win. On contrary to what NBA Kevin Durant did who went to a super team of the Warriors to get his ring, certainly less special.

No official cities mentioned yet, but the tournament field is expanding to 48 teams, which means there will be 80 games in all, with 60 of them in the United States, while Mexico and Canada split the other 20.

The tournament will open with a group stage consisting of 16 groups of three teams, with the top two teams progressing from each group to a knockout tournament starting with a round of 32 teams.  The number of games played overall will increase from 64 to 80, but the number of games played by finalists remains at seven, the same as with 32 teams, except that one group match will be replaced by a knockout match. The tournament will also be completed within 32 days, same as previous 32-team tournaments.

Not sure how I feel about the changes.  Too many groups in my opinion.  Kind of confusing.

The group games are going to be garbage. They spread out the quality nations among the 16 groups, therefore making the talent level between the 3 teams HUGE in each group huge. You add in 2/3 (66%) of the teams advancing, the group stage will be totally meaningless. I just randomized a 1-16 fifa rank, a 17-32 ranked, and 33-48) and a potential group could be (12-England, 20-Croatia, 47-Ghana) with 2 out of 3 advancing, really think these group stages will have little drama

I also liked what I saw in the stands...two achingly beautiful Tunisian girls who had lips of cherry red.  The camera guy who selects close up fan reaction shots thought so too.  He filmed the two girls twice.

A remember a previous World Cup a friend of mine got this feed that allowed you to choose which camera you want to watch the game from (ie focus only on the lead player). During half-time one of the feeds would look for attractive women of one team and another feed would scan the crowd for attractive women supporting the other team. Doubt they do it this year because of #MeToo. lol

Remember pick your 4 teams who will get the most wins. Deadline 2pm Tuesday

Hummmm Just not sure what the set up should be. I guess the most simple way to do it is choose your final 4 (4 teams with most wins in tournament) 2 points for group stage win, 1 point tie, 2 points for knockout wins. GET your picks in before 2pm est tomorrow (Russia-Egypt) Counting wins start from the second game of the group stage (Russia-Egypt). Most total points earned WINS. (In case of a tie, Give your final and World Cup winner)

My 4 Picks. Portugal, Mexico, Spain, Germany.
Finals: Portugal-Germany. Winner- Germany

I'd like to see the Spain vs. Portugal game tomorrow on Fox.  Should be a good one.

Good selection, crazy back and forth game. Ronaldo is really a one man team. There seems to be nothing in Portugal except him

The France game was WAY too early for me to watch, but surprised it was so close. Argentina-Iceland, loved Iceland during the Euro's would love to see them in the elimination rounds.

The Mexico-Germany game was fun. Mexico looked like they belonged. Might be a surprise team.

If I knew there would be a decent interest on here, I would have set up some sort of pool.

With those characters they should hold their own World Cup of Corruption.

I heard something on the radio about Robbie Williams giving Putin and them "the finger?"  Did that happen? If so he should get a geiger counter, personal food tester, and some more armed security- assuming he can escape Russia.

I think he gave the general audience the finger. Robbie Williams so to always be invited to these sort of things.

Today early games both had late game winners with the heavy favorite Uruguay winning 1-0 against Egypt

The first upset of the tournament IRAN won with Morocco scored an "own goal" against themselves. So it official Shi > Sunni !

First off the North American Union lives in FIFA was that great new nation of MexUsCan won the bid to host 2026 World Cup

But for the 2018 World Cup first game was an Illuminati oily dream come true as Russia stomped Saudi Arabia 5-0 with the highlight being the awkward interaction of Putin, FIFA leader and Saudi Prince. I wonder which of those three had most people killed  :-X

Jorch is so dumb, a lady called in and was upset that Jorch was doing a show about religion which I guess he has claimed he doesn't do. Jorch scolded the lady that the show was about Biblical prophecy not about religion. LOL you can't separate Biblical prophecy from religion, prophecies come from Biblical scripture, which by definition are divinely inspired, which is why people believe in them, if they're not divine/supernatural they are just writings by ancient people no different than any myths or folktales. Different denominations may have different interpretations of scriptures and prophecies but you cannot say a show about Biblical prophecy isn't about religion.

I came on to mention this. I listened to none of the show but just happened to pass by at in the middle of this woman's rant about how Jorch is political and religious show. Noory of course says "No no I am not political" and then came with an even more absurd line of "this isn't religion, this is Biblical prophecy" HAHA

It reminded me of something straight out of Phil Hendrie "guests" My first memory of listening to Hendrie is that he had a "religious guest" and the details are fuzzy what he said, all I remember that a caller was angry and the "guest" replied "I'm not talking about Jesus, I'm talking about Christ" That line always sticked in my mind, but Noory saying "I don't talk religion, I talk about the bible" sound even more absurd.

I saw  A Quiet Place the commercials and concept didn't really interest me when I first heard about it, but with the great reviews and amazing box office run I went to go see it a month after it's release on a Sunday night, and to my surprise the cinema was packed for the showing

After seeing it, it sold me. It was really well done. Not your normal "jump scares" just a lot of build and strong character development of the family with some good suspense in between. I went with somebody who is not a horror genre fan at all and that person loved it, called it their favorite movie of the year so far.

Also so Rampage I will admit I am a fan of the Rock so I enjoyed it, it's no Jumanji (which was very good) but Rampage was decent dumb fun.
