the recent games were bad, especially for folks like me who had some loyalities. Jeez. Caps were great all season but, being Caps, "do what they do" (to use a Norryism) post-season. Stars? Again mostly all good all season and, yeah, missing a star player, but the goalies to fall apart like that? After spending so much $$ on them. Management needs to have a talk. Ugh. I guess I will go for Blues. Sorta like, as previously mentioned, everyone will root for the Cubs and everyone hates the Yankees.

Stars have 10 mill tied up in their 2 goalies, whereas StL pays their 2 goalies around 4 mill. Heard that today on SiriusXM NHL radio. Amazeen!

Good luck. For the first time in some time I didn't place some future bets on my teams (usually as a throw-away, why not, type of bet) and thought all season: hey Stars or Caps might do it this year, which would be fitting since I didn't bet. But, alas.

wow Bishop injury is bad? Damn. Also Pierre is the hardest working guy in sports and I blame any mistakes on his spotter (if he has one)

Apparently no news yet. Fell backwards on left leg, looked like he blew up the knee.
As he fell back, the left skate kinda stuck in ice. No give at all, looked horrible.
Are you old enough to remember Washington Redskins QB Joe Theisman' s broken leg?  If not, Google "video of Theisman broken leg"...... I saw it live (on tv), THAT was sickening.
