Aw, man. Chuck died.  He has a new album coming out too.  Looking forward to it.  Here is a nice piece written by the NYT about Chuck.

The last is probably my favorite Chuck song.  RIP, my friend.

Even George Harrison tweeted RIP Chuck Berry.  That's a good trick. Seems like him and Chuck should be meeting up about now.  Who knew George could tweet from beyond the grave. lol.

Too obvious! lol.  That was undoubtedly the first Chuck song that I remember as I was born after his great string of hits.  I still remember hearing it on the radio in '72 when I was 5 or 6.  It made me giggle and I think I was obsessed with the song for a time.  Actually, My Ding a Ling was not a Berry composition but a Dave Bartholomew tune from the early 50's.  Bartholomew should have sued just as Berry sued the Beach Boys over Surfin' USA.

Damn,  Dave Bartholomew is still alive at 98 years old.

Ha, I did not know that. It was sad/funny during the tourney games today the commentators during the break tried to do a tribute and comments were from Barkley all about Mo-Town stuff and people and another one of them chimed in about a Little Richard song, thinking it was Chuck Berry song. Keep in mind it was all black guys doing this, not the usual white guys who make "all look the same" type of mistakes.

There would be no rock and roll without Chuck.  Yeah, he liked nubile teenagers.  Let's not lie about this. Most men do.  Yeah, the bathroom shit was tasteless but everybody has some warts.

59 women!

If he has a camera in the bathroom, then 59 seems like a small tally.  I would never do such a thing but c'mon this stuff was settled out of court and he was not brought up on criminal charges so I'd say it was no big deal.  lol.  I don't like potty humor and I sure as shit am not turned on by shit or golden showers.  There are those that are though.

He opened those restaurants just so he could watch women pee!

I doubt he opened them only to watch women pee.  Maybe he wanted to make some money too.  I'm not defending his actions but I'm not going to cast stones either. Obviously, much more was made out of this case than should have been if the authorities did not convict him.

Juan

I want absolute proof.

Chuck Barris has been born again.  God gonged him and said He didn't want him up there and the Devil did the same.  No choice but to send him back.

All kidding aside.  RIP, Chuck.  This is not a good week for Chucks.
