One thing that I really want to hear is Art's read-through of the "news of the day," both mainstream and seriously out-there stuff. That was always one of the best parts of Art-era Coast, and no one did better than him. The lack of that on the show was pretty much my only complaint about Dark Matter.

It was covered sometimes. I recall him talking about the government shutdown and the killing of the teacher. But yes, he should do it and especially cover fringe news posted on ArtBell.com.

The General

I'd like Art to have a permaculture expert on the show, like Jack Spirko or Toby Hemenway.

cut&pasted some of mine from the C2C wanted shows thread because, let's face it, I don't want them on C2C because Norry would just ruin the subjects. Knapp can use them though.
1) Feral people (not abused children raised feral because that is too sad), isolated or "lost" groups of people (those Confederates who moved to Brazil, old German and Dutch colonies in South America and Asia), the blue-people (Fugates) of Appalachia, limited gene-pool societies or societies formed by runaway slaves (Melungeons, Gullahs, etc)

2) people who have "gone native" after either military desertion, crash-landings or ship-wrecks, just wanting to become a "king", etc.

3) Famous Unsolved Mysteries:
Mystery of the Somerton Man
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taman_Shud_Case
Lead Masks Case
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lead_Masks_Case
Natalie Wood case
Jonathan Luna
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Luna

4) attempted assasination of John Paul II)
updated to the already weirdness and conspiracies:
http://news.yahoo.com/agca-leaves-flowers-john-pauls-tomb-vatican-151130639.html
and whatever happened about that hung Vatican banker or the missing/dead girl and mobster's tomb:
http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/15/world/europe/italy-mobster-missing-girl/index.html

5) Stephen King killed John Lennon conspiracy theory (instead of a caller sneaking in get that guy on as a guest. What not?)

6) a show about how Norry killed C2C (not a conspiracy. Could have media pundits, share-holders, management, survey companies showing listener decline, and, "of course" open-lines where we can vent.)

7) a dating show with open-lines and featuring conference calling (maybe an atheist astronomer can find his girlfriend with an Annie in Alabama. Who knows?!)

8)Olaf Palme's murder and GLADIO stuff in general

9) Joseph of Arimathea and the Holy Grail. Also about Blake's hymn/poem "Jerusalem" and the idea that Jesus himself came to Albion (and could bring in the popularity even in modern times: the banned ELP version and its popularity even now at cricket etc.) And the analysis of the poem/hymn "dark satanic mills" being political? And the sort of strange idea, I won't say cult, of ANGLO-ISRAELISM
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Israelism
That Britons are one of the "lost tribes."

10) LOST CITIES (and their original or rediscovery of) not limited to stuff found in South America but also historical stuff, Z legend, Timbuktu, Tibet, etc,

11) Natalie Wood's death (too much already about Marilyn, what about Natalie Wood's?) Though could go into some other suspect Hollywood deaths (a few recently even claim conspiracy.)

Thanks Albrecht, I just read that kook's (Lennon/King conspiracy) website. So funny. This is why I love Bellgab.

He is a real trip. I'm not sure if he is still around but he used to be able to get into talk radio programs somewhat consistently.

Get Art to sling shit at those liars like Ed Dames

Yeah, I miss hearing Art's thoughts on the news of the day too.  Always looked forward to that 5 or 10 minutes at the beginning of the show.

The Moon Wave is a delicious little slice of fringe, get Crrow777 on for a show!

Kolchak

I'd love to see Art interview Lawrence Krauss, the theoretical physicist from ASU, on cosmology and how the universe came about.

jimbo50

Hey Art,
Requesting you don't discuss Yellowstone blowing up until after August 8th.
Thanks in advance.

Dena81

1.  Parallel Universes
2.  The Mandela Effect (http://mandelaeffect.com/)
3.  Time Travel (Which of course we all know he will!)
4.  Small part of me wants to say Conspiracy theories but that's a broad...crazy topic
5.  Space Travel

Is David Adair still around?  His website http://ww1.flyingsaucers.com/ , http://davidtysonadair.com/   appear to be defunct.  I would love to hear Art interview him if he's still around.

NXOEED

I want him to have Adam Parfrey on to talk about Jack Parsons and his connection to Crowley, L. Ron Hubbard and the OTO.

That's a show that could have easily happened 15 years ago when the book came out, and I might have totally missed it. But I'd love a 2015 perspective on the topic. Parsons was a fascinating man.

MattyHusted

Well ive always like the paranormal topics so Evps and such would be welcomed

I would like to hear about any documented witnesses or groups of mass sightings or smaller, mainly any UFO or strange sightings during the 18-19th century. Before balloons or any knowledge of the word UFO was understood or used.
During that time period I'm not sure how the word Aliens or Abductions were described.
I think it would be interesting to hear about.

An example of a sighting in Captain Samuel Capron ship's log.
An example of a sighting during 1743.

While sailing from Stonington, Connecticut to Suriname (located just east of Venezuela and north of Brazil), Captain Samuel Capron aboard the little sloop PRUDENCE reported the following, as in ship's Log, Sunday July 31, 1743.

“About 10 Minutes after Sun Set saw a very remarkable thing in the NE. The first appearance of it was like the shooting of a Star with a long continued Stream of fire from it. This continued in a beigh like & of a figy colour the space of one minute ten chang’d to a purple its form then alter’d to that of a Snake w. a tale at ye upper end having a motion like a pendat at a Vessels masthead then chang’d to a light blue & alter’d its form nearly resembling a W this continued in sight 15 minutes & keeps its places wtout moveing in ye air.″

Thanks..

I'd love to see Art get on a guest who can talk about Santeria, for example Migene Gonzalez-Wippler or one of the other people who have written informed, well-researched books about the subject.

I do Filipino martial arts and would also love to hear stories about traditional forms of healing and magic in the Philippines.  I know Virgil Mayor Apostol has a book out called Way of the Ancient Healer, and it gets into some pretty crazy stuff involving both healing and martial arts.

Finally, Walter Boseley may be worth having as a guest.  He writes books that are like a super-esoteric version of Graham Hancock, claims all sorts of extraordinary things, and then backs up his assertion with proofs of a sort.  Very enjoyable stuff!

BattyBrooke

I would like Art to update us on Dallas Thompson (hollow earth guy) and Mel (Mel's hole). New interviews would be awesome but detailed updates would greatly suffice!

blitzer850

Juan Bautista Thibodeaux & his talking Alligator, "Pirogue."  He lives somewhere close to the Manchac Swamp where they practice Vodou but more emphasis upon gris-gris, Voodoo queens, use of Hoodoo paraphernalia, and Li Grand Zombi.  Some say Juan comes from the bloodline of Marie Laveau, Voodoo queen.

Manchac Swamp is one with its roots anchored in the past. Not only is Manchac allegedly haunted, it’s also rumored to be home to the Rougarou, the Cajun werewolf. Of course, there is the story of Julie White mystery & death.
Very few will venture into that area. There is supposedly documents of quite a few missing person reports in that area going back to the era when Marie Laveau was still living & practicing gris gris & hoodoo.
If you ever visit the grave of Marie Laveau, don't forget to mark an X on the grave..

Blitzer...😯😨😵🙈🙉🙊

On the main Art Bell thread, Art popped in and mentioned he is in fact looking for new guests. This lady would be great!

Very cool, Batty. But I'm pretty sure this is her - http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/gazettenet/obituary.aspx?pid=160113746

I'd love to hear one of my heroes, Boyd Rice, on Art's new show. He was a C2C guest once. He went on to talk about the Knights Templar, but Ian Punnett was hosting that night.
+1

Art did interview him and Tracy Twyman in the Dagobert's Revenge days, (2001-01-30).

Yepâ€" I like your guest suggestions NXOFEED…
Apocalypse Culture was one of Parfrey’s books right? I had it but lent it out to somebody  and never saw it again…

Also, I wonder if Terrence McKenna’s brother Dennis would be up for a psychonaut chat with Art? (As Terrance has passed away a few years back now.)

I don't know If this has already been suggested, but I'd love to hear a show about Nanotechnology.
Carbon Nanotubes / nanomaterials used for constructing a space elevator & other space related applications.
nano in computing or nano powered devices.
gold coated nanobots that target and kill cancer cells. fascinating!

Art and the guest could even go into the dark side or possible down side/conspiracy angle of nanotech gone wrong.
Discussions about future technological advances are always entertaining.

I'd really like to hear a show on the Black Knight satellite. What the heck is that thing? And bring back some of my favorite guests like Michio Kaku, Matthew Alper, Graham Hancock, Seth Shostak, Richard Hoagland and Rocket Guy Brian Walker.

A few of my least favorite guests are Ed Dames (uggh), Whitley Strieber and Jonathan Reed.

Copied from my post in the main AB thread:
Biohacking. (magnets in fingers and all kinds of other stuff like that)

I've always thought that type of stuff was neat.

Art should do a show about these bizarre sounds that have been coming from the sky all over the Earth for the last 10 years!

I'd like Art to do a show on mysteries of the ancient world.
Not necessarily lost civilizations, ancient astronauts or lost treasures.
But stuff like the true origins of the alphabet/language, bog bodies, asteroid impacts, Arthurian legend, so on.
