I think we were still talking about her in Dave's thread because she was, at that time, insisting on calling her new show MITD.

I kind of liked the days when we met up in this thread no matter what show we were listening to.  There was no Heather Wade thread then.

When she was in her "fuck intellectual property rights" phase?

I have mixed feelings.

Not me. I have firm convictions on the subject.

This new Turbo Mode is scene-stealing.

I'm feeling ebullient. Turbo Mode for everyone!

sweet caroline..

Are you calling me that, or is that what's playing? Because I've got to tell you, I'm just fine with it either way.

Edit: Kiss!

Are hairy nipples normal?

Do you want them to be?

General Lee,

Is there a seekrut directory somewhere on the BellGabe server that contains a user's past avatars?  Asking for an intar-tube fiend.

-pAnon

The avatars all do remain in place, but I don't know if there is anything that connects them to the people who used them.

I mean, if Keith's wife's boyfriend can vouch for his character, I'd feel better listening to MITD. I don't think a strong black bull would get involved if he suspected some dodgy racist past.

Tell me more!

Kiss received and returned! If you play your cards right- possibly a little squeeze and tickle, too!  ;)

That's good, because did you know that I positively looooove women?  Just ask Sonja Henie.  She'll tell you.  I'm insatiable.

Thanks for this thread, Jackstar. I was hoping you and others could tell me what I was missing, since I signed up for Ellgab but was never recognized as a member or allowed to participate.

Since I was seemingly denied admission by the 'kinder, safer' forum - I figure this is where I belong. I guess I'll settle for you guys.

I'm joking- I kid because I care!

Hugs and kisses to all the Bellgab sweeties!  :-*

kiss!

They play a pretty good mix of stuff compared to the average radio show. Reminds of a 'songs from every decade' type station we used to have here in Cincinnati for a few years around 2005-2008.

I agree. They do a pretty good job on the song rotation.

He did play Rock the Casbah for me, thus laying the groundwork for the Bellgab request hour. An hour of music reserved exclusively for members of an internet forum dedicated to a dead radio host, a first in the history of commercial radio.

Yeah, the utility to remote in and change the playlist is installed on all of my computers, so it's pretty easy to throw a song in for someone.

Are you making the choices of songs, if so, is there an approved list of songs?

or all your own choices?

or no choice, its all preformated?

My guess,  you are free to play any song you want

The playlist for each hour is generated days in advance, but I'm free to change it in any way I want. However, I generally don't change the music because it's time consuming and I'm not terribly interested in controlling which songs play. The only song I bother to choose is the deep track selection each hour.

Also, is it true that you lost your virginity to Sonja Henie?

Sonja, a woman (I'm so attracted to women, tee!) was the love of my life.  I'm so addicted to wimmin and their boobs n nipples n stuff that Sonja found it difficult to keep up with me.  I feel like my drive to make love to wymenn was too much for Sonja and contributed to her early death.  I'm just so into chicks n what have you.  Don't allege otherwise, or I'll sue your ass.

Dear Liberace,

Will the UFOship stream of the old GabCasts and SpecSheets etc. be coming back?

It was great for morning coffee time, tune in, see what's streaming, surprise blast from the past etc.

it will indeed be coming back.  i think we'll have a gabcast within the next week, and the 24/7 UFOShip.com stream will come back with that.

I'll bet you 5:1 she just scrapes the turds to the side and sprinkles the litter box with baking soda.
Probably empties the litter box once a month.

that's not how you're supposed to do it?

Dear Liberace.  I have been in the grip of a sick compulsion to rip mattress tags off mattresses since my early teens.  It doesn’t matter if the mattress is mine or not, I just have to do.  My relatives. friends and neighbors are on to me and won’t let me near their bedrooms.  Also, there are several hotel chains that won’t let me book a room. Recently, I have been obsessed with the idea of breaking into a mattress store and having my way with its entire inventory.  Is there a hotline for people like me where I might get information on support groups and 28 day programs.  Sincerely,  Desperate in Duluth.

Desperate in Duluth,
Your letter really touched me.  Your plight, unlike the whiny boomer screeching I'm usually forced to ingest during the course of forging this weekly column, is worthy of this columnist's concern and attention.

Clearly the only solution is to contact your congressman or senator and demand that the federal government ban mattresses.  While that course of action might seem extreme to the casual observer stumbling upon this columnist's reply, it's simply the best and only solution.  Ban The Mattress (BTM) efforts have sprung up throughout the nation, with the movement's most prominent example being in Laredo, Texas.  Granted, they're just trying to get a grip on a massive bedbug problem as opposed to this tag tearing thing you're plagued by, but the net effect is the same: No mattresses.  For anyone.  Ever.  Full stop.

I hope this week's column provided the answers you're looking for, and always remember: My friends call me Lee!

Sincerely,
Liberace!
