That's cool.  You'll probably be up all night.  ;)

Yep.  You really don't buy Mountain Dew, booze, coffee, etc.- you just rent it.

Morning/Evening all.  Imagine a Coast to Coast AM host actually reading the book.  Bad George doesn't even try to color them anymore.

As aforementioned, this looks like a solid couple nights.  Tomorrow night's guest was on Schrader's own show recently, and it was a good listen.  Unfortunately I didn't catch a lot of it- plan to rectify that tomorrow.

So how did your team's pick tingle or offend your sensibilities?  I think the Bengals chose a good player at a position of less than urgent need, at least immediately.  If nothing else, it seemed to really irritate many Steelers fans.  I gotta give it an A+.

In fact, other than for the terrible things that he did, I don't know of any major accomplishment of President Andrew Jackson.

You being the economics guys, I'd think him being the only president to actually pay off the national debt would give him some points.  I really hope I'm right on that by the way.

I'm not really freaked out by spiders, but the thought of a black widow crawling in your mouth and biting your tongue is quite disturbing- "you" being a child no less.

Glowing Bigfoots? 😱

The Bigfoot topic is dubious enough on its own merits.  Linking it with UFOs, inter-dimensionality, and other fringe topics isn't quite the cure it needs in my opinion.

Tonight Ms. Garr dazzles us with self healing and the dangers of vaccines.  Should anyone listen you might want to take notes from the former segment.

I wouldn't say greatest ever, but I've always liked "Drivin' My Life Away" and "Dixie Land Delight".

On a side note....

In this commercial, why does Heather say the bees love to give, blackberries...blah blah blah....whatever she says.  The bees don't GIVE that stuff.  It just bothers me when I hear it.

sorry

They unwittingly "give" it via pollination.

No.  Haven't tasted their tomato juice to my knowledge.  Their apple sauce is good stuff though.

Fortunately I was never exposed to it.  Ms. Willis gets perked up too often- she actually was cut off at the last break because she had one of her "spasms".  I think she's toned it down from her earlier gigs, but she still has work to do.

Bruce (now Caitlyn :-\) Jenner was world famous for his accomplishments as a track and field athlete.  After winning the gold in the decathlon in the  '76 Olympics, and despite not having played basketball since high school, the Kansas City Kings drafted him in the seventh round (139th overall pick) of the NBA draft.  He never played.

Two picks earlier Lusia Harris (Delta State University) was chosen by the New Orleans Jazz, making her the second female to be drafted by an NBA team.  In 1969 the San Francisco Warriors had drafted Denise Long, a highschool senior from Whitten, Iowa who had averaged 62.8 PPG her senior year.  That selection was voided by the league however, so Harris is officially the only female to ever be drafted- unless you count Caitlyn.  Like Jenner, Harris never played in the league.  She did, however, become the first woman inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Oscar Robertson is the only player to average a triple-double for an entire season, which is probably common knowledge among basketball enthusiasts.  What probably isn't as known is that he averaged a triple-double over the entirety of his first five combined seasons, all while averaging over 30 PPG.

Tough question zeebo.  I suppose I'll settle on 1976 since that's the year Boston's self titled debut album came out.

Don't think I've ever heard of that one.
