There is the writing on the windows with soap, such joy!  Thank you Rix!  Nasty bit of business with the scalding, though.  I wonder if she was making bagels, or just washing up.
I heard she boiled some lobsters the day before and their relatives tried to get revenge.

It’ll be interesting to see how 401k’s, the financial market, real estate, etc. all start to re-vector, anticipating a D.C. gone mad, with taxes and other basically confiscatory policies.  I’ve heard other excuses for the market trending down recently, but I believe a lot of folks have been taking action for a worst case scenario.
I’m expecting there to be a special tax on 401k’s when I am ready to retire.  A penalty for preparing for retirement.  Why should I have money when others squandered theirs.

I have a feeling you won’t be the only one.
I’m not saying I’m leaving, but it does open up possibilities if the US is no different than elsewhere.  It would be more fun to sit drinking screech with the locals and complaining about Justine than sitting here bitching about Biden.

I listened to it the multiple times they played and best I could make out he said “True international...” and then I think he forgot what he was saying because that last attempt at a word didn’t make sense.
If he wins, it makes quitting my job, cashing in my 401K, and buying a salmon lodge in Newfoundland an easier decision to swallow.

Imagine a world where the definition of a dozen also took into account the size of an item.  For example, it might take 312 mice to make a dozen but only 1/11234th of an elephant.  What should define the standard unit of a dozen?  What influences it more, mass or numbers?

Do you have the complete collection of Calvin & Hobbes anthologies?
I do, but I would not lend them to Joe Biden.

There are still restrictions on the amount of TP you can buy where I live.

This is one of those posts that work if you read it straight or sarcastically.

I guess my question to Jackstar was from nearly two years ago so it’s no surprise he forgot.  Time, like Jackstar posts, add up fast.

The stellar search function allowed me to find it after perusing nearly the entire thread.  I wanted to bold it but you know.

I will not defend his words, even though they are great entertainment, but take a look at his actions and those of Biden then make a decision.

He just needs to take his shirt off and the ladies will leap at him like a spotted trout to the fly.
As long as it is a spotted trout and not a brown trout with no eyes, which is a euphemism I learned as a summer intern at a wastewater treatment plant.

Is there a word that describes something that is both literal and figurative?

You mean...we’re getting civil war for Christmas?! I can’t wait to see Antifa try to punch Santa. You just know that they will. :D

They better not try to punch Santa.  My dad is one of the favorite Santa’s in Las Vegas and is starting his gig soon.

People spend so much time worrying about what happens when you die.  Why is no one worried about what happens before you were born?  Aren’t they likely to be the same thing?
