I came here to vent about Art quitting after 6 weeks. I looked around the boards prior to that, but never left a comment that I can remember. What's amazing to me, is Art Bell can fling all of this shit in every direction (Sirius, Fan base, streaming, meanness, forums) and expect not one tiny speck of fecal matter to be within twenty feet of him. This latest stunt is pure melodrama. Posted to get the reaction Art's ego demands. We must now beg for Art because we dared question him.  It's stunning, really.

I'm pretty sure Art ended the show.  Something about wanting to give away for free what thousands of his loyal fans had ponied up their hard earned shekels for.

I can understand that people paid money to hear Art. I can understand that people are upset that he left the show.  What I can't understand is, you so called fans of Art Bell who did nothing but BEG for his return for years, are now sitting here cutting him down.  I get the impression you wanted him to return so you could cut him down. Dark Matter Halloween sucks that's a terrible name, change it to Spooky Matter.  Brenden and Jimmy not Barbra lets go off on that for days. Spooky Matter was the worst yet.  People throwing a fit because he posted videos on his website and everyone yelling they are fake we can prove it. I seriously believe some of you really wanted Art to return so you could just cut him down. No matter what he did on this show people were just angry at him and finding anything they could to cut him down.  I honestly think a lot of you thought that by having Art Bell back on the air you would do some kind of time traveling of your own back to the 90s and you expected to hear That Show.  Is cutting Art Bell down making any of you feel more manly or more like a woman.  This has to be the most sickening display of so called "Adult's" you can ask for on the internet.  Yea some of you are out a few bucks for your subscriptions. If you couldn't afford it why did you get it?  I was on this site years ago before it got so big when we could barley get 50 people here. Now this site has a bunch of "adults" acting as if they were 5 year old's. Its Pathetic.

SiriusXM hold all of the cards. Art signed a two year non-compete agreement on top of his three year deal and if he doesn't return to Dark Matter, who knows if we'll see him again down the road.

I have posted a viable solution several times = stream from his site to SXM members. Seems both he and SXM should have no issues with that.

YES - he streams the show thru his site *since he says he can do it better* BUT only to those who login with their SXM account username and password. He gets the stream done 'correctly' without dropouts - and SXM still gets sub revenue.... WIN WIN.

The free thing should not be an issue... if his problem is only with the streaming reliability.

Art, we all love you but we're all very disappointed. Some of us are angry. We can't go into details about why we're angry, but believe us when we say that someday we'll tell "the whole story" about our disappointment and anger. Until then, just trust us that we did all we could not to be disappointed and angry, but the circumstances were beyond our control. There's more to this story than meets the eye.
