When I view how odd Japanese pop culture has become, I often wonder if we nuked them too much, or maybe not enough.


I think the answer clearly was, not enough.

Having lived there, and discussed this with a few separate friends of mine, they said the nuking while a HUGE event to their society, actually they are taught in school to never again be enemies with America, and that it was the idealistic few within their own government that manipulated the "people" into going to war against American.
