Cirith Ungol's first three albums, Manilla Road's first four and Witchfinder General's first two.

  Fucking Glorious.

This song has been haunting me for a couple of weeks now, Dwight Yokam's cover of Wichita Lineman. I love it so much, I wake up hearing it. A melancholy earworm. I imagine it has something to do with my complicated romantic relationships...

Interesting commentary on the lyrics (written by Jimmy Webb):

"What I was really trying to say was, you can see someone working in construction or working in a field, a migrant worker or a truck driver, and you may think you know whatís going on inside him, but you donít. You canít assume that just because someoneís in a menial job that they donít have dreams Ö or extraordinary concepts going around in their head, like ĎI need you more than want you; and I want you for all time.í You canít assume that a man isnít a poet. And thatís really what the song is about.Ē

I am conflicted. I want to vote for this guy for president but I don't want him to BE president. Does that make me a bad person?

Wore the 'Mechanical Animals' album out walking back and forth to University. No question my favorite Manson album.

There's a lot of pretty, pretty ones
That want to get you high
But all the pretty, pretty ones
Will leave you low and blow your mind

I looked into seeing Kraftwerk last year in London - 3 days of shows and they were all sold out 6months in advance.   :-\
