O'Reilly - Rock bottom?

He must be out of topics? Look how hard he is on this dad for posting a funny kid video - why not come down on America's Funniest Home Videos? I don't think the dad made a good argument for the video, but it doesn't matter because this is just so stupid of O'Reilly. O'Reilly has a kid of his own, despite being 400 years old, and he talks about loofahing some co-worker with falafel sandwiches..... classy!

Bill O'Reilly: Hates "David After Dentist" Video

MV/Liberace!

10 years ago, i thought o'reilly was the greatest thing ever to have happened on television.  today, that's a very embarrassing admission for me to make.  he just reminds me of EVERY self righteous asshole who has ever given you a hard time about something in your life.  guys like o'reilly can not be trusted and are not honest about who they really are privately.  we found that out a few years ago with the revelation of a few phone recordings in which o'reilly used words like "boobs."  heh.

I usually like Bill, but that's just silly. I was loopy as hell after my first knock-out. I woke up, asked the nurse if she had any pot, and was seriously doing fuckin 360's in a wheelchair going "WOOO!!". I totally understand where the kid is coming from, and the Dad. It was harmless, innocent, and a good laugh. O'Reilly must be low on people to be "holier than thou" with.

I share this experience. I used to dig Bill. I thought he was funny. But he has become so insecure and low quality it hurts to watch. He brings hot news babes (as he calls them) to talk about stuff that he really can't "opine" about clearly. His shtick about "Look, I'm not really taking sides, but the right is always right and everyone should be a nun and priest."

Catholics..... ugh. And his Tiller the Baby killer stories were disgusting too. I'm sure there aren't any real stories or problems out there, so O'Reilly had to focus on this guy.

I also can't stand what he did about the Iranians buying general electric products = supporting terror. Lame, sad, stretching. Until he does something groundbreaking, he's done for me.

Jenna Jameson said that when he interviewed her, he was an asshole and complained about porn as prostitution. Then when the cameras stopped rolling, he asked her for copies of her videos.

What a jerk!  First - for O'Reily to do something like that MAY have been a bit exploitative - as he is a public figure - but even then, such a big deal?  For this average David to do it - well - it's just cute!

I have at least a dozen stories about my son growing up - and at least one on tape. Is there one of you here that does NOT have a parent with a pet story they love to trot out at holidays or when introduced to one of your friends?  Some version of the steriotypical "Mom shows the new girlfirend/boyfriend pics of you nakid on the rug on in the bath when you were 9 months old - on your first date no less" thing?

The shortest one in my repetoir is the day my son, not quite 6, and about to be baptized in a Lutheran Church (he had been "christned" as an infant - but in a Unitarian Society - not quite the same thing . . .) announced to the pastor:  "I really DO belive in Martha Looten King!"

BO needs to get a life.

I don't think O'reilly understands youtube culture at all. I wonder if he knows about the remix to this dental visit :)

He got his karma when his radio factor was cancelled. It was great when DC banned him.

How long til Shepard Smith is fired from Fox? Check out this brutal honesty. Good for him for having the courage to stand up to these wing nut mobs.

Shepard Smith Calls Out "More and More Frightening" Fox E-mailers

Actually, that e-mail wasn't far off. Obama blocks every attempt to drudge up his real birth records in court, he promotes socialist ideals, he was trained by Marxists, and his middle name is in fact "Hussein".

I fail to see where that e-mail was either hateful, or preposterous. o.0

That's all Fox News will tell you. Do you know anything else about Bill Ayers other than his lame attempt to bomb a bathroom in a federal building?

Bill Ayers is actually pretty awesome, and that has nothing to do with Obama.

The Ayers thing is a huge stretch, as most politics require of opposing sides like our system offers. He is who he is, but it doesn't reflect on Obama. The Annenberg foundation is not a Marxist foundation, and plenty of right leaning Rethugs are on the board of it too. What's your point? people on boards are equal minded?

I was a secretary once, and I've taken notes at these meetings. It's mostly opposing views and people disagreeing anyway.

As usual, Hannity didn't let you hear the entire sound byte or quote about Ayers "I regret we didn't do more". How vague. He says that his movement failed because they didn't do the right things and that violence is never appropriate. They failed because almost 60K Americans died despite the anti-war movement and that's what he meant.

Fry, the "Everything on Fox is a complete lie" argument doesn't work on me. I actually research what Hannity/O'Reily/Beck say - and guess what? They actually AREN'T crazy! At least not on the subject of Obama's past affiliations. If you want proof Obama is a brainwashed nutjob, here's all you need: he worked for Farrakhan. You know, the guy that called for the deaths of all whites and Jews on many occasions long before the Million Man March. The guy who Wright and his daughters named "Man of the Year" as Obama sat in the pew? Yeah, lol...that guy.

And if you want to argue about where we're getting information, let me guess - you get your news from..what..'Democracy Now"? "DailyKos"? Randi Rhodes? These are all great sources of information if you want to either reaffirm your hatred of Fox news, not be informed on obama, or get excuses for Obama's affiliations or behavior. ;:)

However, if you actually want to hear the things that the rest of media won't tell you about Obama - Fox/Limbaugh are really your last possible resources. Wright's/Ayers' connections to Obama would never have been exposed, or even LOOKED for if it weren't for those two entities.

You missed my point. Politicians do hang out with assholes; it's actually a prerequisite for the work they do. Obama's pastor was a key person to befriend because guess what? It got him elected in Illinois! So what? Is he the first to use the morons in society to win elections? No.

But when Obama does it - the fucking sky might fall? hahaha.

I have black classmates who were fuming about O man giving the MLK anniversary speech and not even mentioning MLK. They complained about the people O man hires. Everyone has beef with him. That's a good thing.

You think Palin doesn't do the same thing? The only reason I'm cool with Obama doing it is because it didn't take him 6 colleges to prove he can get a bachelors and he proved that we can elect coherent, educated politicians who don't just marry rich chicks who pay their way into politics (McCain).

Your favorite channel wants everyone to think his supporters think he's Christ. Maybe there are such people. I'm not one. I'm just a supporter and I have my reasons, but not the reasons Fox promotes.

I hope he takes more and more vacations. Puts his feet up as much as he wants. He inherited a fucking mess and I hope this country gets it's grounding back. With or without Obama.

The way I see it, the more pissed off Fox News and its insane anchors are, the better. It's when they are happy smiling cheerful robots that things get fucked up.

I dunno Fry, you defend him like a prophet or something. I honestly have never seen you criticize him, while MV and I have criticized Bush/Mccain/Palin on various occasions.

Also, if you honestly believe Obama is so unbelievably intelligent - why does he need teleprompters EVERYWHERE HE GOES? He didn't even write his own stimulus package. Frankly, he's of average intelligence. The only reason he is where is, is simply because he's black. Plain and simple. He and Michelle were affirmative action beneficiaries who made it through college on writing socilist/marxist/racialist hogwash. Don't believe me, that's fine. I don't expect you to, especially if you get your information from the sources I mentioned earlier. But I promise you, they didn't try to lock up Michelle's college thesis because it was HELPFUL to Obama's appearance as a normal person.

When Fox "leads you to believe" that his constituency treats him like some sort of biblical figure - it ain't far off. Just youtube his supporters speaking on him during the election. Listen to any street interview with random idiot supporters on him. Listen to any liberal commentator and wait for the to criticize him. It just doesn't happen, Fry. I hate to inform ya, but Democracy Now and the rest are 10x more "out there" than Fox will ever be. I just wish they could realize how hateful and ridiculous they truly are.

Teleprompters are so awful? So he can't memorize the speeches? So what. At least he doesn't sound like a jackass like our previous president, who was the butt of jokes by everyone. I'd rather he make speeches that make sense and are grammatically correct! That's not even an issue, but since it's all Fox has, great!

Oh and I don't think he's a prophet. Stop saying this. I defend him because the attacks are bullshit. I have criticized him. Go back to the Kurdish thread. I was fuming that he didn't mention the human rights offenses by Turks. I am sick of the Turks getting away with murder because we need their air bases to launch attacks in the future against Iran/Syria/Iraq.

Don't worry, there'll be another election, if the wing nuts don't kill us all with their second amendment pride and white christian hate.

Funny you bring up Bush and white christian hate in the same breath. I don't remember Bush ever hanging out with/endorsing racial/religious radicals or terrorist marxists...like someone else I know. ;:)

Indeed, I must say it still amuses me how blind the left is to the hatred of their own party for whites and Christians. Ah, tolerance. It should be used only by white Christian males, and applies only to everyone BUT white christian males. lol. Hypocritical much?

At least white Christian males made and fought for a country where these folks can spout their ridiculous, no matter how foolish it is - they can still say it. God Bless America.

Worse, he hung out with the Christian Coalition. Lots of people fought and died for this country, including blacks and muslims. Don't forget that, please.

LOL. You must have taken some kind of funny course in a University.

Sure, a few blacks died..(I'm not sure where you get Muslims from. I believe they were buying up slaves at that time in Africa.)..but I'm sorry. This country was fought for, won by, designed by, and built by white christian males. There were some slave blacks in the south who helped with agricultural work. Other than that, it was a European Christian male project. Anyone who would argue otherwise is caught up in a lying ideology created in the 70's by people who weren't satisfied with their role in American history.

I visit the vietnam memorial regularly. When it's not too hot, I go to the national mall to exercise. I've seen the names and yes, there are muslim names. Shock and awe, I know. But Muslims love this country too. There are a few "Mohammads" on that wall, and these don't include the Iraq/Afghanistan vets.

This European Christian project? On the backs of whom? Abducted Africans? So the "others" have no say? Well too bad those Euro christians failed to plan ahead for what slavery would do to tear this country apart, and leave a legacy of hate, particularly in the south. Almost all of them just said "Blacks should just leave if we abolish slavery". When Malcom X said it, he was "anti-American".

Sure, I understand there were a few people of non-specifically white heritage who have died in wars over America...but they use the few who did to create the lie that this country was formed equally by the blood and sweat of everyone on the face of the planet....it's a complete lie. And when they want to make the argument that america is racist or was patriarchal, then they will CERTAINLY admit the truth that it was formed by white european christians because it helps their cause of playing victims.

I'm more than familiar with liberal tactics on redefining what America was founded on and by whom, and I'm not phased by them. Just like Kwanza, it was an ideology created to make people without a truly deep-seeded investment in the creation/holidays of America feel more involved. It's a nice sentiment, but a childish notion and a falsity.

Well, I just call it like I see it. I won't bullshit on my political views. Like you said in your broadcast, the knee-jerk reaction of bringing up Bush is apparent, but it doesn't phase me either. I didn't support the man for 6 years of his presidency, and to be honest, I even supported Kerry in the '04 elections. And to clarify, I didn't really support Kerry..I was just disillusioned with Bush. He wasn't a conservative, he didn't explain conservatism to the base, and he didn't rally the base. If anything he fucking destroyed the republican party in the sense that the country views it today as far as I'm concerned.

And while I respect and agree with the morals of Christianity, and the bible, and Jesus - it doesn't belong in politics IMO. American morals in the modern age already fall basically in line with the ten commandments. I don't think we need an Evangelical as a president under any circumstance, lest we become a pseudo-theocracy or worse.

If he wasn't a conservative, why were the conservative AND neo-conservatives calling him this and defending his work as conservative??? I'm not sure you all should be expected to answer this.

Anyway, to pretend Bush didn't happen is ridiculous. Obama is the response to Bush and we need to try something different. 8 years of "whatever" didn't work, and McCain/Palin was a continuation of that. So maybe, if this guy doesn't work out, the next one will. That's America and how our election process works.

I don't agree with your Pirate, but we agree on more than you think. I would be cool with a R president, but not a nut job. Not a geezer who has his number two as someone who says "You can actually see Russia from the coast of my house" AND THEN defend it in a second interview.

I just want SOME standards, and they include No Rudy Guilianowhiney, no wars for no good reason (lies) AND no sucking up to Israel and other stupid leaders just for the sake of it. Balance is best.

I'm off to see a performance of Abraham Lincoln now.

fg, the issue on which you chose to criticize obama (which you cited in this thread) seems hardly to be what i would call a front burner issue.  it's more of a bone-toss, really.  fact is, i've not seen you criticize one major bullet point of obama's overall philosophies or agenda at any time, be it during his short presidency or during the campaign.

and, again... the whole "i can see russia from my front porch" thing... wasn't that tina fey on snl?  it's my understanding that palin never said that.  if i'm wrong, then show me how i am and i'll stand corrected.

No man, she said it one of her first big interviews.  Tina Fey didn't make much up when lampooning her.

My bad, this is what she said - "They're our next-door neighbours and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska."

What makes it a joke is that it was a response to a question like "What kind of experience would you bring to foreign policy when dealing with a nation like Russia"

It's rare for someone to WRITE a joke that good and be the butt of it. Go Spalin! What sucks about Palin is her supporters. If you go to greta van sustersucks blog, these cankley women are sitting around bashing Michelle Obama for her arms and sweat over pictures of marines, then say how Sarah Palin is so pretty and that Obama is ugly and they love sarah more because we "hate her". Great path for the national politics! I think with this new president, we might have our first case of right wing extremism by a crazy woman (thinking of the cat lady from the simpsons wearing a sarah palin shirt). LOL.

Frys Girl

By the way, these wing nut jobs are even sprouting up here in the DC metro area. Yesterday at the "talk station" here in Fairfax, VA www.wjfk.com, a looney toon showed up and said he had "a message for the world." It was all an Obama rant about the cops. The station called the cops anyway. The RNC should use some money for anger management and thai masseuses or something.

Oh no. Palin is a moron for not admitting that even though she lacks FP experience, McCain has it. She would have be a VP. The question was intended to point out that Biden has ties in the international community and FP experience - what about you, in comparison?. She just doesn't get it. She thinks automatically it's a matter of discrimination. She could have focused on her domestic/Alaskan stuff. Instead she talks about Russian land?

HAHA. it's always about Sarah Versus Barack. Give it up. No contest, ya knoooow.
