Just listening to Arts first show after Ramona died and it's pretty heartbreaking stuff.

He mentioned that he considered taking an overdose which is interesting considering how he died.

A guilty pleasure of mine is the 911 Wacky Caller episode.

I loved most of the episodes that strayed from the typical paranormal topics.

I wonder how everyone will react to the 'Heather Wade Quits MITD' thread...

I found the whole call from Heather to be cringe worthy.

With Heather trying her best to sound like a professional radio host and Dave trying his best to sound like a human being, it made for awkward listening. You could hear the smugness in Daves undertones despite his best efforts to mask it with fake compassion.

For a split moment, I relived the joy of those wonderful few months of Arts return to the airwaves.

Followed by the gut wrenching realisation that we'll probably never experience that again.

I think when Art left, MITD should have had multiple different hosts in the same way the Gabcast is done but obviously with a bit more structure.

That could have made the program more diverse and kept people tuning in, instead it's just another stale paranormal show with a very bland, uninspiring host.

As with many people on here however, I feel so deflated by the last few years of following Art Bell, I'm really struggling to care about the whole debacle.

I have now infected my hard drive with sounds of Falkies intestinal tract processing whatever garbage he stuffs in his face. I have no problem with him staying in his fortress, but please don't allow us to unwittingly download his verbal trash on our devices.

My attitude towards Falkie is not to attempt to understand him, simply acknowledge that he exists, and move on.

Falkie has to be the worst host of a podcast I've ever heard, I can't listen to that fat pile for more than a few minutes without deleting.

His episodes are a waste of space on the UFOship server.

I can't think of any radio personality who has had half as much drama in their lives as Art has.

Hopefully this isn't the end, it can't be....

Who'd have thought the guy could turn out to be such a turd, he's starting to make Noory look like a saint.

I always felt Leo's contribution to the show was pretty much none existent. Don't get me wrong, I like the paranormal news segment but his voice is a bit too monotone and I certainly wouldn't wanna listen to 2 or 3 hours of him.

I think his ambitions are clearly way above his ability as a radio 'talent'.

This thread is a disgrace to humanity.

Yet I still come back for more...

Unlike Dave, Art clearly puts a lot of time and effort in to researching his guest and the subject matter and it shows. He is the master of what he does.

This is one of the reasons Dave sounds like such a bumbling moron most of the time, he literally doesn't know what he's talking about.

Anybody else get chills when the Chase played at the start?
