About 20-25 yrs ago, I was on a family camping trip at the beach. My cousins and I were at the showers, and someone started laughing because their “Pantene” conditioner squirted all over the place and looked very, very bad. Now I can’t look at Pantene (panting) in the same way.

The last few days around here = "sewergab". Makes a gal not want to come around often. Of course there is this little thing called "life" that comes a-knocking. Yesterday I visited with a patient who was in a particularly great mood. Then, to top off the day, my ASD kiddo received a very special honor at his school's award ceremony.  A beautiful plaque. I'm still crying.   

May I also pass on my congratulations to your son. My son and daughter both have Aspergers so I know how important this is.

Thank you! My oldest was never diagnosed, and has led a pretty typical life thus far, but I wonder about her sometimes. My son is very high functioning, which (as you probably well know) can often mean they’re left more to their own devices.. not as often a priority as some of the lower functioning on the spectrum. He’s just seemed to hit his stride and be in a really great place the last year and a half. Very proud of him.
