One of my favorites.  I could use some of those cool shades.  They could help explain a lot.  ;)
Hey, my grandmother got some of those fashion shades after her retina surgery.

She must have an even harder time watching The Dear Leader on the tube.  ;)

Yeah, nice catch!

If you like Norm, check out his podcast.  Insanely funny.

Ya know, back in the day I never watched it..I think. What a good movie though.
It is a shame youtube is now charging 3 bucks to watch the full version. Thought that was a bit fucked up. Guess it's time to find it on disk.
I suggest you all watch They Live. It's what 80s movies were all about, and has one of the highest accredited fight scenes in movie history as well.

Edited to add:
Rowdy Roddy Piper is just kick fucking ass

Love Norm, and love Mondays too!  I just recently went on a YouTube Norm binge.

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

Right on.  Unfortunately, it probably "goes over the head" of a lot of people.  They just see it as some kooky, alien-sci-fi movie and miss the overall commentary on human nature and society.   "... but what does this have to do with the Kardashians???"  ::)

"You want Capone, this is what you do; He draws a knife, you draw a gun. He put's one of yours in hospital, you put one of his in the morgue" (very dodgy accents not withstanding)

"Reg: All right, but apart from the sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?[/font]Attendee: Brought peace?
Reg: Oh, peace - shut up!"

(This inspired people to take up Latin!--when I saw and heard it in the cinema I pretty much wet myself)
Centurion: What's this, then? "Romanes eunt domus"? People called Romanes, they go, the house?
Brian: It says, "Romans go home
Centurion: No it doesn't ! What's the latin for "Roman"? Come on, come on !
Brian: Er, "Romanus" !
Centurion: Vocative plural of "Romanus" is?
Brian: Er, er, "Romani" !
Centurion: [Writes "Romani" over Brian's graffiti] "Eunt"? What is "eunt"? Conjugate the verb, "to go" !
Brian: Er, "Ire". Er, "eo", "is", "it", "imus", "itis", "eunt".
Centurion: So, "eunt" is...?
Brian: Third person plural present indicative, "they go".
Centurion: But, "Romans, go home" is an order. So you must use...?
[He twists Brian's ear]
Brian: Aaagh ! The imperative !
Centurion: Which is...?
Brian: Aaaagh ! Er, er, "i" !
Centurion: How many Romans?
Brian: Aaaaagh ! Plural, plural, er, "ite" !
Centurion: [Writes "ite"] "Domus"? Nominative? "Go home" is motion towards, isn't it?
Brian: Dative !
[the Centurion holds a sword to his throat]
Brian: Aaagh ! Not the dative, not the dative ! Er, er, accusative, "Domum" !
Centurion: But "Domus" takes the locative, which is...?
Brian: Er, "Domum" !
Centurion: [Writes "Domum"] Understand? Now, write it out a hundred times.
Brian: Yes sir. Thank you, sir. Hail Caesar, sir.
Centurion: Hail Caesar ! And if it's not done by sunrise, I'll cut your balls off.

Fantastic film! I especially like the scene with Micheal Palin explaining too his effete son how the castle will one day be his (although it's been rebuilt several times)

Micheal Palin is from Sheffield, hence him laying on the thick Yorkshire accent. Brilliant, considering the whole thing was done on a budget of about $10.  ;D

Can't pick just one, and it changes with the phases of the moon.  Here are two favorites at the moment:

"I swear, if you existed, I'd divorce you."

"I'm a goddam marvel of modern science."

Forget the cannolis, that was the one that sprang to mind first. This is my really real favorite:

"Some celestial event. No - no words. No words to describe it. Poetry! They should've sent a poet. So beautiful. So beautiful... I had no idea."
