I make an assumption that these 'insiders' are ok with this?

Interestingly the one on the left looks like the ice cream man that drives by my house on Wednesday.
See any tall, creepy looking guys per chance?

Just wait a few weeks when Me-TV starts their new Fall lineup in September.
They are adding shows like Man from UNCLE, Black Sheep Squadron, Mission Impossible, Superman (1950s) and more...
Of course they still air nightly Noory's fav "Twilight Zone"
Oh, yeah!  Me is what's usually on my tube when it's on.  I may be mistaken but I believe I saw a Me commercial showing "Cheers" was taking "Twilight Zones" current slot.  Not sure if Noory's favorite is moving elsewhere or going on hiatus.  Jorch may be in shock. ;)

Ha! I'm really "with it."  My must watch TV is "Columbo" and "Hogan's Heroes" on MeTV and "MST3K" on Retro.  I'm considering adding "The Beverly Hillbillies."  Noory ain't got nothing on me. :))

I never realized there were so many idiots and jerks in the world until the advent of the internet.  That being said, MV runs a pretty decent forum with some good folks regularly showing-up.

Dude break out your healing crystals and some spirit candles.  Enjoy the journey back to your true self.

Or if that gets boring just slam a 6-pack like me.
I'd have to do a couple fifths of Glenlivet and a box of stoagies to counteract the overt assault of woosism.  I think I'll just watch the Lifetime channel instead.

"Joining host Lisa Garr (email), John Gray, author of "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus," will discuss how our repressed emotions block the flow of love into our lives, and how we can unlock these feelings in order to let the light in. First hour guest, heir to the Baskin-Robbins empire, John Robbins talks about his work over the last 25 years looking at healthy lifestyles, the quality of food supply, organics, and GMOs"

Damn, could there actually be something worse than Noory?  Have I died and gone to New Age Hell?

Aluminum is proper and mandatory for Orthodox Pastafarians, but plastic is acceptable for the Reformed branch. I have no problem with that, but there's something majestic and elegant about aluminum that no plastic will ever match.
What???  Aluminum is the ONLY proper way.  Plastic is heresy!  Convert or die!  Praise be to Reynolds!

What did you think of Gregory Peck's performance? David Janssen's? James Bacon Franciscus? Do you think the Rotten Tomatoes reviewers were swayed by the Academy Award factor? I've seen a lot
of better films get far lower ratings on RT.

I would, however, give a 95% to 100% rating for the MST3K version.

With both Siskel and Ebert gone, it's hopeless. Some swear by Leonard Maltin, though he reminds me of a giant educated beaver.

Rotten Tomatoes also gave too high of a score for Transcendence.

Movement Key = AA
Peck was really out of place in what seemed like a made-for-TV movie, almost.  I think he played down to the level of the movie.  Janssen was the best fit and gave the best performance.  I just go "oh, crap" when I see the likes of Franciscus and Crenna pop-up in a movie.  Warning!  Bland '70s-style acting ahead.  Of course, Hartley would have to play one of the wives.  Somebody must have remembered her from her Twilight Zone days.

Yes, it hasn't been the same without Siskel and Ebert.  Best space movie?  My pick isn't "2001 A Space Odyssey," even though I'm big fan of Clarke.  I'd go with "Alien."  That was one hell of a ride when it first hit the screens.  Forget any of the follow-ups, though.

Jess and I got married. We had a baby. We called him Art. He's a mean baby.
A trucker has to be involved somehow in this sordid affair.  And cell phones.  Damn cellphones.  "Would you PLEASE TURN OFF THE DAMN RADIO!"

The caller says he's worried about beaming the message out into space.  Noory responds with "SETI's been doing this for years."  No.  Wrong.  They only listen.  They don't broadcast.  And Seth Shostak has told Noory as much when he's been a guest.

To my knowledge before this point only one major message was ever sent before, from Arecibo, some years ago.  And I don't Know if it was even from SETI.

(I think for awhile craigslist was beaming messages out into space but I don't know what the deal with that was.)
What could possibly go wrong when George "I can't eat a pizza roll without injuring myself" Noory is involved?

I caught sNoory saying that and was about to mention it.  Yes, sNoory's mean streak and true persona is showing. "Tactical nukes, what do you think?" WTF?! May any god listening prevent his crooked pointy finger from starting World War III.
Jorch, the great strategist.  Tactical nukes for ISIS, and why not a few cruise missile strikes on select St. Louis suburbs for riot control. "What duh yuh think?"

Apparently he didn't come up with it himself.  Joshua P. Warren "had a hand in it."  More explicitly, he wrote it according to George.
George's books, questions for guests, and, of course, messages to aliens...somebody else does it.  Now if we could just get somebody else to host the show.

Hahaha.  I thought it was from watching "Soupy Sales" and your namesake "Morgus." :))  Jorch just gets physics. Jorch = Suckage to the power of infinity.

From Rotten Tomatoes, 100% of the crtics liked "Marooned?"  Gene Hackman as a sniveling, whining astronaut was not exactly one of his best performances.  Crap, this mediocre space flick was even lampooned on MST3K, under an alternative title.
#18170
Premrad should retitle C2C to "Snooring with Snoory."

I've heard the "died" commercial several times.  It makes Ty Bollinger seem classy.

Recognize the face from all those shows, but never knew his name.  He was part of a group of character actors I refer to as the "Oh, yeah, that guy" guys because even though they're in practically everything, I can never remember their names.
Ha!  Exactly.  I didn't sort through all his shows.  I don't believe he made "Columbo" caliber but he had to make the cut for something like "The Love Boat?"

Ed Nelson.  I remember him.  One of those generic guys primarily in the 60s and 70s.  Like Richard Crenna and a host of other cardboard cut-outs.

One of the many things I love about Jorch.  His sincerity.

I'll bet Zimmerman will be placed on petty Jorch's "haterz" list after Zimmerman crapped on Jorch's latest pet project.  That was good for a chuckle.

I had "movie sign" tonight. :)  Damn it, no short tonight, probably because the movie was pretty long.  Some funny moments but not quite as good as riffing "Sharknado."  "Godzilla," while not exactly academy award material, isn't completely awful as a stand alone movie.  Just too damn long without any creative material or anything noteworthy, including the actors.  The RiffTrax boys are at their best when the movie is the worst.

Haha, yeah he'd be like "Hey guys, I sure hope that's fair-trade tobacco you've got there ....", which would not go over well I'm thinking.
I'd like to see Geeorge as something like an incompetent ringmaster, taking some well-placed "unintentional" hits.
