I don't think you understand how reality works, I really don't.

Hah, look at me, talking to your sense of reason. What a laugh!

Next time I'm in court I want you to represent me. Better Call Jackstar. 'Your honour I call this the 'Pooka Defence'.

I've listened to all sorts of crap in my time. I first heard about Coast because I used to listen to Alex Jones, who would often announce he was doing the show, so I listened occasionally to Noory. Then I found out that Art used to do the show and it was like night and day. I found out about this place like a lot of people, typing unflattering remarks about Noory.

I don't have to believe the guests to enjoy the show. Most people jump to conclusions, that's why I don't trust witnesses, and reason and scepticism takes practice. That's why I want evidence before I believe something.

You might be surprised but I'm much the same way.  I don't believe all the tripe that I hear.  Spirit boxes, white noise and that garbage don't convince me.  Plus those loony New Age types that seem to wander the halls at Premiere. Can't stand them.  I listened to Noory for about 5 years and then turned him off for the most part. Couldn't bloody well take it anymore with the constant flim-flam men amd women on there.

I probably do want to believe in this stuff more than you do.  Strikes my imagination and such.  Anyway, you add great flavor on Bellgab and I wouldn't have it any other way. ;D

Ok.  I've got to knock off before getting too lovey-dovey. Can't have that. Thanks for answering.

Screwing Stormy Daniels isn't the story; Having his pet bitch pay her off just before the election is.

No, I told you the reason why it's a story.  It's to drive a wedge between Trump and a portion of his base.  Why else would this pointless story be headlines for months?  So much for non-partisan, just report the facts journalism, right?

But I'll play along, why is this an issue?  Why is Muller, who's devoted time to this while supposedly investigation foreign interference in our elections, but doesn't have time to look into what Barak Obma and Hilary Clinton were doing regarding Russian influence?  What is the issue here, other than embarrassing Trump?

Quote from: Yorkshire pud on May 18, 2018, 01:02:46 PM
Okay okay, let's break this down shall we and add some context. Trump inherited falling unemployment, and a rising economy that started in 2009 after the crash in 2007/2008.

If Mickey Mouse had been elected POTUS it would be difficult to make that go in reverse in 2016. The economic and employment graph had fuck all to do with Trump in 2016. When you only put the last ten bricks in a wall and claim you built it it's disingenuous without giving credit to those who got it that far.

Asked and answered.  Multiple times.  Let me spell it out again:  Our economy should have bounced back much stronger than it did in 2009, and would have except for Obama's interference.  Our economy proved stronger than his malfeasance, and grew in spite of him and his stooges.  But never even reached 3% in any of his eight years, a shocking new record of administration ineptitude.

If you believe otherwise, please tell me what steps he took to improve the economy and what the result was.  I'm also interested in hearing why the economy turned on a dime for the better when people running businesses and making decisions for their companies saw the next president would be Donald Trump and not Hilary Clinton.

Responding to those two questions should be simple enough, right?  Since you are informed enough to post about it, you know what you're talking about and don't simply take the Democrat Party and the Fake News Media's word for it, right?

No?  Nothing?  Just like the other 10 times I asked when you brought up Obama's brilliant work on the economy.

Just like the question of why John Kerry shouldn't have been brought up on charges of violating the Logan Act with his attempt to undermine Trump on the Iran deal a few weeks ago.

I know; But he thinks he should be deciding how and what it investigates.. Just like a normal dictator.

What's he done that's dictatorial?  You do realize we vote for presidents based on their positions on issues, and plans they have to address certain issues that need adressing.

I'm not sure how things are viewed in your country when politicians carry out the agendas they run on (do they even do that there?) but here when they follow through, it isn't considered dictatorship.

Wait, why are you even commenting on our government?

You know when Obama ran for president he paid off a bunch of outstanding parking tickets, right?  Over 100 of them.  It's actually against the law to not pay one's tickets, unlike what you've bitching about Trump doing.

Do you recall the unpaid tickets being headline news for months on end?  Breathless, endless reports and updates?  Oh so serious panel discussions?  Why or why not?

Do you get that if it had been Obama paying off some bimbo, and Trump with the parking tickets, the Fake News Media would have been silent on the bimbo, and hounded Trump for months regarding the parking tickets?  you do get that, right?

Well since this is also the Stormy Daniels thread.
.....The crowd trickled in, greeted by a large banner of Daniels and a slightly smaller cardboard cutout of Trump. The porn star and the president were a popular backdrop for selfie-seeking customers. One woman said seeing Daniels was on her bucket list.

She finally took the stage shortly after 1 a.m. dressed in a patriotic bustier and long red skirt that flowed down to her high heels. The crowd yelled, “We love you Stormy,” as she pranced around the stripper pole to Lenny Kravitz’s cover of “American Woman.”

As Daniels removed items of clothing and dropped to the floor, the crowd chanted, “Stormy, Stormy, Stormy.” But as she stood up to keep dancing, the drunk man threw his wallet.

Shocked, she ran off the stage after throwing the wallet back at the man. The crowd booed as an announcer said the show had to be stopped.

Daniels was not hurt, but Bend police arrived and interviewed the patron outside the club.....

Her bucket list, really?  That is rather pitiful. She's not a bad looking lady but not bucket list material and I'd sure as hell want to do more than just see her!

You know don't you that not declaring the funds paid to her during the campaign is illegal? It's interesting isn't it on AF1 when asked if he was aware of the payment to her, Trump had that little boy with his hand in the cookie jar look; Before a flat "no" and then immediately at that moment threw Cohen under the bus by saying "I know nothing about it, you'd better ask Micheal Cohen, he's my lawyer"...

Since then of course we discover that Cohen was also an undeclared lobbyist, demanding and receiving quite a few million dollars. Yet he had to borrow against the equity on his own house (and that of his in laws) to pay off the porn star...Oh, and Trump has since 'remembered' that he did know Cohen paid her off.

Cohen is almost certainly facing jail time (He's pleaded the fifth-"Only the Mob plead the fifth"-Donald Trump) The question is now if he really would take a bullet for the one who views loyalty one way.

I'd say all things considered, it's a hell of a lot more than your usual offerings of banal videos of your Dear leader and non predictions of earthquakes.

Um, actually it's not.  Funds spent by a candidate out of his own pocket or by other on his behalf that are not related to the campaign are not reported.  As tis wasn't an expense necessary to the campaign, it wasn't reportable.  That's what a former head of the Federal Elections Committee said in the NY Times Op-Ed piece recently.  What would have been illegal was if the payment to her was paid from campaign funds.  Since it was not a campaign expense, it's not an unreported contribution.

I'd look up the column and link it for you, but it wouldn't matter.  You'd just bring it up all over again in a few days as if you never saw it.

I realize any attack on Trump, any lie, is applauded in certain quarters.  Truth doesn't matter.  It's especially celebrated when it's a lie about something as technical and detailed as campaign funding - what's in, what's out, what's reportable, what isn't.

The more confusing, the less the average person knows about it, the more self satisfied the liars out to get Trump are when they decide to throw more mud.  As I've said before, please be sure your information is correct before foolishly passing it along.  Again, it amazes me you aren't infuriated about constantly being lied to by your ''news'' sources.

Um, actually it's not.

The crucially obvious question here is, "Why isn't the porn star being charged with blackmail and extortion?" The answer, of course, is that the whole fucking thing never happened and it is all a prime distraction--as is evidenced by which of you fucking monkey fuckheads pay any attention to it.

I only pay attention to it when some idiot brings it up as ''proof'' of something or other - which then needs to be corrected and refuted
