I did not flash part 2 last night because Dave was on here. Perhaps tonight, shortly after 10PM P.T.

On another subject: Please list your favorite show. That will be very interesting and will help in knowing what direction to go.

Art

Can't list just one but I'll list some topics:
most open lines shows
future technology (life extension, bigelow aerospace, etc)
strange creatures/ghosts/entities/posession

things I could do without:
prophecies (ed dames, sean david morton, all that crap)

Most memorable show for me was probably the one for american mankillers about the bears, deer and family dog attacks.  I also liked the stuff with Bugs.

truth or trash was interesting although I only remember ever hearing it once.

I loved the show with Edgar Mitchell. I am a big fan of all the astronauts, and of course he's one of my favorites.

Art

Maybe not considered "classic", but the shows with Boris Said and Graham Hancock describing mysteries of Egypt and ruins beneath the sea.  Reminded me of Nimoy's In Search of or Ancient Mysteries

Brilliant atmosphere on those shows for sure!

Favorites? Wow hard to say:
Malachi Martin
Ghost to Ghost shows
MadMan Markum
Bugs and Bigfoot
Mel (about the holes)
LMH
Jan Lamprecht
Wendy Lockwood (and Mr.Fidget. bizarre show! Great)
Kathleen Keating
Dallas Thompson
the "normal" interviews: Willie, Carlin, Haggard, etc
the OKC shows
Red Elk

uber controversial guests (crazy militia guys and Dr.William Pierce)
and the "special" open-lines

SredniVashtar

I always found the shadow people episodes a lot of fun. Mind you, even when there was a show with someone I didn't like it was usually turned into something listenable. Making Ed Dames mildly tolerable is akin to a kind of radio alchemy. I used to think the UFO angle had gotten played out a long time ago, but I listen to a podcast called Radio Misterioso which has some interesting people on there, and it would be good if Art had some of those people on the new show. There was one show were someone was discussing UFO experiences and their connection with sightings of large owls. Sound weird but I enjoyed it.

Sorry, chief - that would have to be plural for my favorite show(s):  The specific caller lines: Area 51, Time Traveler, Ghost to Ghost, etc.,.  Then there are the John Lear interviews, Graham Hancock, Stan Deyo, Al Bielek, and the rest. TBH, there are WAY too many to name as my favorite(s).

Dare I say that ANYTHING that contains a combination of an engaged/knowledgeable host and a subject matter that allows us to "take a ride" into areas that constantly demonstrate that we live in a Universe of searching questions and infinite answers/possibilities. These are my favorite shows....    :D

pyewacket

Art- I'd listen to any of your shows! The ones I liked the best were about ghosts and hauntings and the open lines shows.  ;D

Open lines was my favorite format followed by real world people like astronauts, astronomers, technology experts and physicists.

The lurkerhawk was doing his thing last night, and offering to pay certain members to like him. Madman Marcum is number one for me,
time travel is also a great subject (open lines or not,) and then just general open lines because you never know where it will go. More Michio Kaku is never a bad thing either.

The episode on Sirius about the Canadian college student found in the water tank at the Hotel Cecil in L.A. was memorable because of the video of her in the elevator before her death and speculation that the hotel was haunted. The hotel was once home to serial killer  Richard Ramirez Night Stalker, making the speculation extra creepy.

Another vote for Mike "Madman" Marcum (and any time travel-related show)...

David Adair, the alien burrito,  anything with Graham Hancock, screams from hell coming from the deep hole, Harlot ritually damning babies then Father Martin confirming it is possible...

Edgar Mitchell. Capt Crunch.

"Interesting" topics are all good to me.  Doesn't need to be paranormal.

Well Art--I always liked when you had Linda Moulton Howe on you guys explored the strange subjects in a reportorial way.  Also like subjects that went into the meaning of life issues and areas.

Does anyone see a trend here? No one has mentioned tumeric? There are subjects I would NOT want to hear... refer to GNS on Bellgab for full report.

Art, to echo what a few others have already said, my favorites would also be any of the ghost/scarier shows.  I loved when Ghost to Ghost AM would run a couple of days, or happen more than once in the same year.  The GIS shows were also great(although I have to admit I wasn't too crazy with their new member that was on Dark Matter).  Aside from that, can't beat the spontaneity of Open Lines.

If you ever wanted to get back at George for guest poaching, always thought it would be great to hear you interview R. Gary Patterson  ;)  The 27 Club/Paul is Dead/Rock & Roll mystery stuff is fascinating to me.

CHADSUKE

I am a long time lurker who just joined today.  I would be very thankful if some kind soul would PM me Art’s message.  Please and Thank you.

Mr. Art Bell, my favorite shows are:

Mel’s hole
Bugs
Mad man Markum
Time traveler line
Area 51 employee line
Open lines, open lines, open lines!

PrairieGhost

1. Mel's Hole
2. Bug's Bigfoot
3. Open lines/ Ghost 2 Ghost
4. Michio Kaku
5. Mad Man Markum

Anything Time Travel.

My favorite show is GOING TO BE the first one I hear in mid-July!   :) :)

Plausible Time Travel stories, GIS <Chunka, Wayne Green RIP, Science in to "new fascinating things", Space travel, Open Lines, and NO BIG FOOT.
Also Art I liked your 90's era politics discussions. If kept as an equal affiliation offender i.e. "middle of the road" all would benefit. No need for another far right or left soapbox. Just today's problems and "hopes".

Guests pitching vitamins or banker/Mossad "conspiracies" is an instant turn-off.  Anyone can get their fill of that from a certain insane man in Austin, Tx.

Snoory has such a chip on his shoulder. If he really felt like he was an accomplished professional, he wouldn't be here checking up on you. The bottom line is that even Dave knows that he sucks. Dave is also the corporate shrill of all corporate shrills.

"Let's build the dang fence"
I say let's build the dang spacefleet and check out some far out places.
That would surely build the economy and create jobs. Let's turn out spacecraft like Detroit used to turn out cars.
Never mind the space station where here in FL the NASA channel is on everywhere even terrestrial TV.
It shows "Astronauts" studying bubbles and fluid motion in a container spun by hand. Later lets watch as Cosmonaut blah blah exercises on the treadmill, later the view for the 97,231 time, the myriad surface of the Gobi desert, all on the NASA channel. What a waste of money.
Just a topic for consideration.

Just in case he isn't aware that he sucks I sent him a message to let him know how much he sucks.
