Quote from: TheMan WhoFell ToEarth on July 28, 2022, 04:51:35 PMWith any luck, a monkeypox outbreak.
It's just a matter of time, with K_Dubb breathing heavily on us.

Quote from: BobGrau on July 28, 2022, 12:19:20 PMAh, there's that familiar spinal warp of Bellgabian pre-postal tension I've missed...
We'll soon explode into dysfunctional ecstasy. Praise Lee and The Mysterious Entity cursed with herding the live/deadstock at this place.

Quote from: K_Dubb on July 28, 2022, 09:05:12 AMHe is a well-polished one, kind of disproves the old adage.
Heh, heh, heh... yes, a nice, shiny one that has no problem slipping through Limey sewage.

Quote from: Roswells, Art on July 27, 2022, 07:41:24 AMWell that's nice. The queen always makes sure there's always at least one of her subjects here at all times. Welcome back, Bob. Your posts are above average.
Nice to see you two too, Walks and Roy. Now, where is our plague patient WOTR?
Wassup, Ros! I'm happy to see so many familiar names back here to toy with Lee once again. Of course, some of us have been hanging on the other site but I don't recall seeing WOTR anywhere recently.

Quote from: Liberace! on July 28, 2022, 12:04:15 AMHeh heh, nice angle.  I should have tried meeting up with him as a fellow Coke drinker.
Ha! I was going to go with "Hey, Art! Man, does that George Noory suck!"

There was a certain eloquence to the turd.

Quote from: GravitySucks on July 26, 2022, 08:13:31 PMPud for sure. I met LauraKinch for lunch one day back in 2019 I think and the Limey bastard refused to join us just because I called him a Limey bastard.
Ha! Maybe Pud just really likes gravity.  He might have been concerned he was going to float away into oblivion from all of his hot air.

Quote from: Walks_At_Night on July 26, 2022, 06:32:43 PMI think he might be my new boss at work. :o  My good ole boy, NC native boss just snapped like a twig last week and decided to retire effective the end of July. I guess 43 years was enough. So my new guy is a limey from just outside of London. Snarky son of a gun that as near as I can recall sounds like S.V. did from the Gabcast. Lots of Brits live outside of London, are snarky and sound like S.V. but what threw me was that he said he had a great friend in the Bay Area that was originally from Pittsburgh.

Coincidence? I think not......
Ha!  Gee, I wonder who his "great friend" could be? ;)  You poor bastard.

Quote from: aldousburbank on July 25, 2022, 11:53:53 PMActually was supposed to be there in a few days for the annual monsoon mysticism and divine toad rite shenanigans. But alas, the lords of time and space have insisted I attend their firefly infested reindeer games in the Catskills instead. Fucking magic is so much work. Especially when you're on a budget. But Tucson is home boi! Been back twice since April so I knows I'll be soon back again, and again, and again...

Man, I love Tucson. I wish I was there now.

Years ago when I'd be out there, I'd set outside after a late afternoon monsoon thunderstorm, crack open a cold one, look to the west, and enjoy one of those spectacular desert sunsets.

Quote from: K_Dubb on July 25, 2022, 11:17:11 PMDoes... that mean this is the Bad Place? 🔥🔥🔥

Well, big boy, let's think about this. Zeebo was one of nicest posters here, in the old days. Is he here in this place? Heck no, he's busy enjoying the Good Place.

Quote from: whoozit on July 25, 2022, 07:30:54 PMCan you prove you weren't stalked and murdered?
Paladin, Dubb, Albrecht... the dead are adding up. Yep, no doubt about it. We're all dead and Tootsie is alive and surfing the net, while stuffing down the Cheetos. I'm looking forward to meeting Bruce Willis or at least his movie character.

Quote from: whoozit on July 24, 2022, 07:05:24 PMIs this a good place to make lifelong friends?  It seems so friendly here and I know everyone has each other's best interests at heart.  What could possibly go wrong?  Can we get a dating thread to look for potential mates?
Dave Norway has made lots of "friends" here.

Quote from: Rix Gins on July 24, 2022, 04:17:34 PMPosting styles are kind of like fingerprints.  They can be very hard to change.  I almost thought that Mr. Albrecht was a bit overly descriptive in his last post.  There were some correct elements to his usual style though, so I guess it's him.
He made a highly appropriate Hamm's reference. ;)

Quote from: pate on July 24, 2022, 02:19:40 PMYou could always put me on your /ignore list (assuming that is functional?) or just scroll through those long bits you have difficulty comprehending.  I do try to limit those, btw!

I will try in the future to use the small easily digestible words in my prodigious lexicon so that yore brane will not ache so.

Good to see you, IO!

I do not promise to cease and desist my use of the text "’" in place of an apostrophe, however.  That is an inside joke that only a few select folk can fully grok.

My Apogees, sir!  If this is not sufficient, I direct you to have your second contact my second and they will arrange for a more formal face-to-face to resolve the unfortunate difficulty you are having!

Ha!  I'm just messing with you Pate. ;)  I've missed your jibber jabber.  By the way, will you be running for the Prez position in 2024 or will you just be jogging?

just tuned into C2C for the first thyme in many yarns tonight;  I have to say that Dave's voice lessons (or whatever) really seem to be paying off.
As far as I can tell, by half-list-shunning:  I acshually understain most of what easy saying!
Kudos, Dave!

Did ewe get some sort of surgery to correct that hare-lip thing so you can finally get rid of the Saddam-esque ’stache?
Nautical Shore, but in any case:  you seem to have lost that basso profundo thing that both John B. Wells and Art had in spades.
I will take coherency, diction, and understand-ability every day of the weak over exhausting mush-mouthery!
Well Done, sir!

Jorch sounds good because you were listening to Punnett.

I wouldn't hold that against her.

Quote from: Liberace! on July 23, 2022, 07:08:28 PMI'm sad to report that I don't really have any plans to do a regular show, primarily because I don't like the commitment.  Maybe the occasional one-off just to say "hey" but that would be about it.  In fact, I've sold off most of my audio equipment.  However, if Curtis becomes available for Spec Sheet recordings again, I'd be willing to adjust my calendar.
Darn!  You're a natural at it, Lee.  Oh, well, I look forward to your one-off shows.

Quote from: Juan on July 23, 2022, 04:10:42 PMFor me it's like slipping back into a familiar, comfortable nightmare.

And doesn't the light you shine up in there need to be red?

"That is correct, Dave.  Please be gentle."

Quote from: Juan on July 23, 2022, 04:14:12 PMIan: so George, that's the long story of how I got interested in D. B. Cooper.
sNoory: airplanes are such fascinating things.  Did you know some people voluntarily jump out of them?  Have you heard about a fellow named D. B. Cooper?
Jorch:  George Knapp... wow! You're named "George," too!  Whut are the odds!

Quote from: K_Dubb on July 23, 2022, 03:44:24 PMAw thanks, Lee.  I am sure Sonja Henie never gave you this kind of trouble.  You think maybe if I rub them all over with horse paste, gargle with colloidal silver, and shine bright lights up mah hoohoo?
When all else fails...

"Tooomeric!  Oh, and Doc Wallach says about 4 dozen eggs.  Each day."

Quote from: Dr. MD MD on July 23, 2022, 02:48:00 PMWas coming back to Bellgab like waking up from a nightmare? ???

Oh, I'm still dead and having nightmares, especially when pate posts.  Or maybe that's just headaches.

Quote from: Juan on July 23, 2022, 12:44:11 PMThere was a rumor that Brig died.  Anybody know?
Brig is alive and well but I've been dead for awhile and trapped on another forum in another dimension.

Quote from: Juan on July 23, 2022, 01:18:42 PMWell, k-dubb was supposed to be dead, too. I guess the Bellgab rumor network is about as expected.
