Did your place get flooded? I posted a vid of a computer geek in Texas I sometimes watch and his place did.
The key is to close the main water valve and drain the pipes BEFORE the pipes bust from frozen water.  ;) When I saw how bad it was going to get here in SE Texas, I shut off the main water valve at the street, post haste, then fired up the fireplace.  Computer Geek guy must have been waiting for the guberment and Joe Biden to help him out. ;)

Just one more example to never rely on Big Government and their flunkies to save you.

I think what made Art great back in the day, and different from all the rest, was that you could tell he enjoyed listening to all kinds of people.  He enjoyed being surprised by his callers.  Most of the rest seem to just enjoy hearing themselves talk.

I didn't listen to Coast at all this week, listened to Frank Morano a bit. I do miss Noory's idiocy though when I don't tune in to Coast for a while.

so we lost Rush, I was an on and off again Rush listener but it really stinks I'll never hear him again - death is so final, unless you're one of Noory's sham mediums who talk to the dead all the time.

Noory with his Super Beets, his tonic water with quinine, zinc, Vitamin D and whatever other snake oil Pharmacist Ben and the veterinarian gives him will be on the air for another decade.
The show with filmmaker Chris Alexander on the appeal of the horror genre was somewhat entertaining, as long as you either ignored or laughed at Dave Norway.  Dave persisted in his usual annoying habits of trying to link things to him in some obtuse or self-aggrandizing way and using Google to pose as if he was actually knowledgeable about certain things.  In other words, he was his usual putz self.

I agree there is no global conspiracy, but there is a slightly tested “vaccine” using a new technology that may or may not give you immunity for 3-6 months unless it doesn’t.   Do some research on earlier animal experiments with this technology, they are sobering.  I will admit that if we get a handle on this technology it could eliminate a lot of horrible disease but I prefer not to be an early adopter.  Who voted you the arbiter of what is real and what is conspiracy?
Here’s another Doc’s discussion about the Corona Chan mRNA jabs.  Seems rational.

Just guessing, but I suspet  when Noory retires or dies, Premiere will cancel C2C and fill the time with some other type of talk, maybe a straight interview show like Jim Bohannon or John Batchelor.
That wouldn’t surprise me, since C2C seems to be viewed by Premier as an overnight filler.  Whatever is the least cost for them.  Maybe a full on four hour infomercial with Doc Wallet every night.

However, Mr. Norway will be there for the duration, which could still be for quite some time.  Larry King was still doing infomercials until recently.

I'm waiting for part 3. And then, like star wars- I want a prequel and a sequel and a few spin-offs... Don't stop now... There are still Republicans who have not been investigated. As a matter of fact, if you can win enough seats, I would suggest that all those who voted against impeachment be impeached for failing to convict Trump.
Maybe Trump should declare he’s now running for a Senate seat for 2022.  Imagine the hue and cry from an outraged DC establishment.  It would provide further entertainment until he then declares he’s going to run for the White House again, after becoming a senator.

The whole deal was ridiculous- on all sides. Sloppy motions, bad readings, bad spellings, bad precedents, bad charging, lame maskings, strange appeals to emotions, crocodile tears, wrong parliamentary procedures, misunderstandings of rules, pronunciation problems, and all kinds of minorities and tribes -and almost everything was ridiculous. It is amazing how Trump has buried into people's brains, on both 'sides' of DC, so that some basic stuff can't be done!
It’s almost as if inside the beltway is some kind of lame, self-serving swamp.

I'm in Corona-Chan -now limited thankfully- lockdown but now "Arctic Blasts" and ice etc so stay home, so I was hoping witnesses and more high-jinx in the Show Trial. So disappointed. Frigging DC politics.

Well,  I wonder what Svengoolie has on later.... "The Invisible Man" a bonafide classic! I almost might watch another way without his jokes and commercial breaks- despite all the pleadings from greats Joe Namath, Johnny Bench, and Tom Selleck in those commercials.
Ha!  As I was reading your first sentences, I was going to suggest Sven tonight.  All the locals are freaking out over the dreaded coming “Arctic Blast,” so I’m going with the flow and staying at home in the bunker, anyway, Corona Chan or not.  Having grown up in the Midwest with sub zero weather being just another day of winter, I just chuckle.  Cold for me is when you can walk from Ohio to Kentucky on the Ohio river.

i caught that exchange about The Wizard of Oz, classic Noory cringe, it happens when he's trying to be conversational and/or humorous with a guest, it always falls flat because his mind works so slowly and with such a limited knowledge base he has no ability to analyze if what he is going to say has any chance of being remotely interesting or humorous to anybody. So he brings up the classic Wizard of Oz movie and paints the picture to the guest of a young Georgie watching the movie with Ma Noory and being frightened by the Wicked Witch of the West. Grrrrrrrrrrrrreat story. The guest doesn't know what to say, so Noory asks her 'Did yeeeeeeew ever see that movie?' Of course she did like every other human being you moron. He thinks the conversation is going so well that he continues on with the topic, and asks the guest whether she can cackle like the Wicked Witch of the West. The poor woman cackles for him and giggles. Time to move on ......... or so she thought .........Noory's far from finished with the tedious topic. Next he wonders because even the things he does remember, old movies mostly, he doesn't know much about, if when the Wicked Witch of the West cackled was she riding a bicycle or flying on a broom. He asks the guest whether she remembers, the guest giggles she's not sure and clearly is wondering why this idiot is now fixated on such a stupid thing. He continues on trying to figure this all out - bicycle or broom? She was riding a broom, that's what witches do imbecile - he was confusing scenes/characters, Miss Gulch is the mean ugly lady in Kansas who does not like Toto and actually takes him to be put to sleep - then the tornado hits and Dorothy is off to Oz where Miss Gulch appears as the Wicked Witch of the West. Honestly I really think that Noory has never put together that Miss Gulch and the Wicked Witch of the West are the same person, one a dream version of the other. Anyway, this literally went on for about 5 minutes with the guest not knowing what to do until Noory finally gave up and encouraged people listening to call in if they had the answer to the bicycle or broom question.

Speaking of weed(s), Willie got around.

“Snoop Dogg told Jimmy Kimmel saying Nelson is the only person to ever out-smoke him, he said: "That was over in Amsterdam! I called Snoop and I said, 'Hey buddy, you gotta come over here. This is where it's at!'

I absolutely love it. It is official- Astrazenica announces that a vaccine against the new variants is 6-9 months away (and then there will be another variant after that with another shot 6 months later...) So, if you get the African variant (supposedly much more infectious), the Astrazenica vaccine provides "minimal" protection.

Yet, the CDC just gave out guidelines that anybody who is fully vaccinated need not self isolate if they were in close contact with somebody who is infected. Does anybody doubt this is 100% about control? "Show me your vaccine passport. O.K. Although you have no protection- but you are free to live your life unlike the troglodyte who is not protected because he refused a vaccine."

*You may enjoy the second link telling us all to double mask. It is very, very important. Do you want to kill grandma?

**Also on my list of questions from that report. If Madison Square Garden can reopen at 10% capacity, has the governor allowed churches to reopen? Or is singing much more dangerous than cheering?

Fuckers.

So Pfizer and Modena may only be good for THREE MONTHS???”

“...But the CDC says it's not known how long protection lasts, so people who had their last shot three months ago or more should still quarantine if they are exposed.”  Actually, 2 and a half months, considering there isn’t full protection until 2 weeks after the second shot?   ???

It was very wounding!  I have struggled with body image ever since I was a kid, scrawny, awkward, terrible posture, always picked last, so pale you can see blue veins everywhere, just to be confident enough to walk around without a shirt when I finally got my act together and got a little sun was a major victory.  Tigery Lily's cruelty -- can you imagine telling someone the sight of their body makes you sick? -- brought it all rushing back and I cried and didn't bake any more cookies for a very very long time.  They are very wicked people over there!

FYI

“It has become widely accepted that the first doses for both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines result in some tenderness around the injection site but not much else. The Moderna vaccine's second injection, though, has developed a reputation for packing a bigger punch of COVID-like symptoms -- mainly aches and pains, fatigue, chills and fever -- for a short time after receiving the shot, while the Pfizer vaccine appears to be milder.”

Plus, if you order $50 or more, no charge for shipping.

Yes, about the only Starbucks stuff I like is the dark roast Caffe Verona, maybe the Italian roast but most of it’s like brewing well-used charcoal briquettes.

I ordered some of the Illy Classico beans from their website and it’s pretty much become my go to brew now.  It’s not over-roasted, like much of the Starbucks stuff.  It’s more like the regular old fashioned Joe, without any bitterness.  Just ordered some more, when I got an email with a sale offer.
