So what is this young ladies beef?   Chinese government putting the heat on her or idiots over here moaning about her being a hottie and doing her own thing?

I've never really looked at the actual lyrics to that National Anthem of France before.  They are pretty intense.  Slit throats and fields watered with the blood of enemies.  Bombs bursting in air is pretty tame stuff in comparison.

The Brits sing a rousing anthem, too.  I especially relish the couplet "Confound their politics/Frustrate their knavish tricks".  Who ever said they were not a red-blooded, warlike race?

They were but that aspect was cucked out of their existence in the last century. ;)

They also like to burn an effigy of the Pope in Nov, which is sorta cool.  And the whole hooliganism deal, which might be, as I've mentioned before, the only thing that might save the UK and Europe if the Firms could get their act together and sort out the real enemies. (I'm not advocating violence, of course.)

Reading these various threads while Bob's Burgers plays in the background creates a very surrealistic atmosphere.

Guy Fawkes was a Catholic plot.

#Fawkes... Catholic... Plot... Curtsy... Portman...

I keep a tab open pointed to search for dog pictures to append to my posts hear.  I was goggleing something the Green Bastige was talking about over in politics and forgot to clear the search string when I switched back to image search.

That being said, I submit the following:

I don't get to listen to any of these late night shows anymore because I had started a job (somewhat) faraway, and I have a fucking long commute. I have to get up at around 4.45am. Heather's show seems to be insane from what I've been reading. Should I make an effort to listen live or just listen/read the highlights in her thread? I need the "crazy". Is Hoagland still on? I know that Amy finally gave up. Poor Amy.

I listened to a rip of one of her recent shows that was floating around, and it was worth listening to.

You can scoop quite a bit of the highlights in the thread, so I wouldn't bother going out of your way to catch her live.

Ditto that, Brig's summaries are informative and accurate.

What are people we don’t know?
She won. She didn't mention the rape incident and Alex didn't seem impressed as I was when she said she was in The Runaways.

Watching the Ghost Adventures episode where they go to Transylvania and this guy was on. Seems familiar. But why?  ;D
