... sacre bleu!

Translation: For more than 7 hours, Jackster has been hogging a glory hole in the men's room at the National Assembly and the Place de la Concorde, hoping for a dick to hang out of it.

Several very major traffic axes are blocked in Paris due to this.

Come on, run that through Google Translate at least. Put a little effort in.

Note the cardboard sign being held in the right of this image. Subtle.

In case you were wondering, "Why yellow vests??" (I know I was.)

I'm never good at saying all the right things; sometimes, I say too much.

The French are a weird lot. Contrary to some opinions, they can often be "ok" types but strange. They like their protests. Even a weird pseudo-deal where they kidnap the bosses. They like facades, etc. I couldn't figure how to the the frog "c" there, btw. Also, strange working stuff and laws. There is organized crime, of course, but even their they tend to politer, is that word, (if not Muslim or GLADIO) ways. And their meals make up for less volume in TIME! And waiters are, generally, better-not interrupting, have 'bling,' or forcing you out (even when you want to say "get me the fuck out of here and insipid political discussions and give me a decent portion, dammit!)

These shots are looking like viral marketing for the The Last Of Us Part II. Still holding out for pitchforks. But, are those actual Christmas trees being used to block the road? Present timeline is best timeline.

Although I did find the central message in this video to be very compelling, the music made me want to stab myself in the ears. See above, re: pitchforks.

Well, that is some fresh information:

The Vigi labor union joins the movement of the yellow vests by calling up to an indefinite strike from Saturday, day of the act 4 of the mobilization ( Saturday, December 8th, 2018)

Indeed, the union "Vigi Ministère de l'Interieur" announces on Twitter the strike of the Police from December 8th, 2018. However, this strike concerns only some policemen: administration staff, techniques, scientists and workers of state / cooks. The active staffs have no right to strike.

It is important to say that without the technical and labor assistants cooks, the companies of MEMBERS OF THE FRENCH RIOT POLICE can be immobilized.

A sick leave for the others policemen?

When the préfet refused to submit to the will of the people, they lit the place on fire, with him still inside.

That's too bad.

Actions and inactions have consequences, boo hoo hoo :'(

Meanwhile:

"So the yellow vests are wisely letting the antifa and communists now get beat up by the cops, and are wisely doing tactical operations only in Paris. Firstâ€" they are doing solid PR to the military to reassure those in it that are not initiated whose side they are on. While the communists were defacing the Arc de Triomphe, the real yellow vests were protecting the flame of the unknown soldier from vandals."

French President Emmanuel Macron listens to explanations given by an employee of the Mobilier National (National Furnishings) as the Élysée Palace opened its doors to the public on September 15 as part of France's Heritage Days. He told one unemployed person attending the event that he could find work if he simply “crossed the street” and searched for employment in a different sector.

French President Emmanuel Macron faced criticism once again, this time for telling a job seeker that he could find work if he simply “crossed the street” and searched for employment in a different sector.

The 40-year-old head of state had previously been dubbed the “president of the rich” and drew criticism for pushing forward policies that many believe hurt French workers. Now, a video of the president advising an unemployed citizen at a cultural event at the Élysée Palace on Saturday has garnered social media anger.

"I'm 25 years old, I send résumés and cover letters, they don't lead to anything," the unemployed man said in the video, France 24 reported.

Brushing aside the man’s complaint, Macron suggested he was merely searching in the wrong sector.

“If you are ready and motivated, in hotels, cafés and construction, everywhere I go people say to me that they are looking for staff,” the president responded, according to the BBC. He then told the man that he could find him a job “just by crossing the street.”

Many on social media were quick to criticize Macron, accusing him of once again appearing disconnected from the reality many French face in the country.

“Macron is simply not learning. Again coming across as aloof and cocky,” Mathieu von Rohr, a journalist for Der Spiegel, wrote on Twitter. “If he continues like this, this won't end well."

QuoteA total of 153 people were arrested in Mantes-la-Jolie (Yvelines), Thursday, December 6, according to the prosecutor of the Republic of Versailles, Vincent Lesclous, because of new incidents occurred near the Lycée Saint-Exupéry, where two cars were set on fire and clashes broke out with the police.

The arrested, mostly students, are suspected of “participation in an armed crowd , ” said the city commissioner, Arnaud Verhille, ensuring he wanted to “interrupt an uncontrolled process . ” In the Yvelines, a total of 189 young people, aged 12 to 20 years, were placed in custody, according to the prosecutor of Versailles, and more than 700 in all France according to the Ministry of the Interior .

Images of the arrests, the authenticity of which has been confirmed by Agence France-Presse and Le Monde , were broadcast on social networks. They show rows of dozens of students on their knees, their hands crossed behind their heads, under the supervision of helmeted policemen armed with batons and shields. Some are lined up, forehead against a wall. On one of the videos, a person comments: “This is a class that stands wise. ”

QuoteFrance's interior minister Christophe Castaner said he expected "only a few thousand people" to descend on the capital after the 8,000 protesters counted last weekend, "but among them are ultraviolent individuals".

This sounds like what you might say to prep the public for a tolerant response to a violent crackdown.
