The "summit" is enough to bring me out of retirement. This is a farce. No one but Trump, Kim and two interpreters. Not one security, diplomatic expert/adviser.They will both come out telling any lies they want. This is nothing but a photo op with a lot of crowing and preening and lies to follow

I'm sorry, I haven't been here that long. I'm going need an explanation. Pretty please?

I'm assuming this is about chefist's involvement in "The Blitz". Which was the run-up to Art's MiTD. Quite a few of us put time and energy and money into getting the word out to radio stations to get Art on their schedule. Color us suckers

Damn, best Zorro is a tough choice.  I love Ty as Zorro and Rathbone as the villain but Fairbanks is extraordinary with his athleticism.

Hmmm. You got me there. Fairbanks was amazing. Ok, Tyrone in the Don Diego parts, Fairbanks in the action parts

I'm partial to Zorro myself though when I was a kid I watched Lost In Space religiously.  I always wanted to swash my buckles.  Besides swashbucklers always got the girls.

Still true. Guy Madison, best tv Zorro. Tyrone Power best Zorro

Night all have a good weekend. I'm headed to Ian's

I managed to get the Zorro TV series with him on DVD a few years ago.  I need to get it out and watch it. Of course, he is probably most recognizable to Gabbers as John Robinson in Lost In Space.

Nope. Zorro. But you know me, Classic

It has been a while for me too.  The wedding scene was very, very brief.  Sean had a normal sex scene with a woman, Charlotte Rampling, though Charlotte was disappointed that it didn't last longer or so she says.  Somehow Sean got through the movie with his masculinity intact.  He did give Boorman a bit of grief about the wedding dress scene and I would expect no less of him.

I remember Charlotte Rampling was especially beautiful in that. Let's see if I can find a pic real quick

Are people just not calling into MITD, or what? Last night's show was great, but I was hoping to hear some calls.

I don't think Dave NEEDS calls coming in to make compelling radio, as he's proved time and time again, but it does seem like it's the one missing piece of the puzzle.

I think last night the guest had so much to share I think Dave just ran out of time

Is it bad that I'm considering becoming a True Crime Tuesday patron?

Say yes so I can save my $5 a month.

Sorry. Dave is good with crime. Did I say that right? Anyway, just the cost of an overpriced coffee for all that entertainment. Go ahead. Live it up. You have my permission. What else do you need?

She interviewed him twice and I think it was probably her two best shows. She was actually up to speed on some of the trends he talked about. I don’t remember any stupid questions.

Good to know. I always thought she was weakest with scientific topics

Totally agree. Great show! Btw if anyone heard Heather interview him how did this compare? Of course, he barely needed an interviewer, except Dave did a great job of steering through all the subjects

I think maybe the way it happens is alot of independent minds making advancements in their little corners, with no one actually seeing the cumulative effect of all the inter-dependencies till it's too late.  The singularity deal basically, catching everyone by surprise.

I read quite awhile back that when the worldwide web aggregates enough nodes similar to the human brain's synapses, it may instantaneously become sentient. I believe I've read we have surpassed the theorized number
