I posted this self portrait cartoon on the Art thread, but it will disappear quickly into past pages.

Getting a shout out from Art while at a future listening party:

Shot this last summer mountain biking in the northern California foothills. Northern Pacific Rattlesnake 210mm @ F/5.6. These guys are scary but beautiful to watch in the wild.

Went to Bremerton yesterday to photograph the Navy's mothball fleet. I love shooting there and the mothball fleet down in Suisun Bay, CA. I'd kill to get aboard these ships for 24 hours of exploring and photographing. The ship on the left in the shot of two ships is the USS Kitty Hawk. I believe the one on the right is the USS Constellation.

Grubs 3 and 4.

That phrase alone was worth the price of admission.

(I may steal it and use it the next time I go through a hamburger drive-thru to see what they give me.)

The second one of the first two you posted, looks like something I saw on UNSEALED : Alien Files last night and is my favorite of the four.

Pretty dramatic shots, beautifully done. Strange seeing the Kitty Hawk in mothballs like that. I was in the Coast Guard out on the Pacific and ot seems like mare than half the ships I used to work with, train, or serve on (both Navy and CG) are rusting away now in those endless rows at Bremerton.

Ha, thanks! And the final grubs in the series (because my chickens ate the models):

Thanks. It's rather eerie and sad. I'd love to get on board these and the ones down at Suisun Bay. I've only photographed them from a nearby hillside. Thanks for your service in the CG. I'm a proud CG mom. Both my daughter and her husband are CG.  :) My daughter spent her first years in the CG on the Eagle.

Some photographers have made it out to the boats in Suisun. So sad to see them wasting away.

I was bored so I made a little 3d doodle.

Out mountain biking yesterday in the foothills outside of Sacramento and spring has brought us some amazing beauty. Check out this bonsai oak.

Many people see the Noorie in a grub, pareidolia maybe?

Not my own created art, but I like it for several reasons and didn't know the best place to post it, or even if I should.  I like the way the art functions as backdrop.

I posted some of my shit a few years back, but not in this thread. I'm a painter/illustrator. I hide my work throughout the State of Arizona behind dumpsters and in bushes, then post clues on my blog with the hope that people will go looking for them. I also draw comics and illustrate album covers. More info @ http://nxoeed.com if you live in AZ and want to go hunting for them.

So that is my message. Wait what were we talking about?

Judging by the first painting (I'll call it ~Current 93~) of this group you posted, you could design one hell of a board game background, Thelemaopoly, etc.

(I prefer Snakes and Ladders for relaxation/contemplation. Just a thought.)

Good stuff you got there, NXOEED.

Thank you kindly. Current 93 is definitely a huge influence of mine.
