All the above holds true for the MSM in general and for the tenured liberal (read socialistic) academics who control the curriculum of the social sciences and humanities taught in our universities and who, having retreated into academia as the most congenial environment for their radicalism, have zero experience in the real world but continue to grow rich exploiting the uninformed idealism of our youth.  Ironically the latter would be the first to loose their cherished freedom to act as social critics under the totalitarian regimes that history proves inevitably evolve from the political model they advocate.

I first noticed this when I was in high school. That was in the early '90s, and the situation just spread and worsened since then. The propaganda went from subtle to blatant. They showed their hands. I realized, when I was young, that leftists' caricatures and stereotypes of certain groups were at odds with my experience. I later realized that there was a pecking order of acceptable targets of Marxist hatred. It was based on groups who were more likely to favor sovereignty over globalism. That was why Marxists always had a vicious hatred of the South, a region that favored states' rights. As with Confederate memorials and statues, they then focused on other targets. They set their sights on Middle America just like they set their sights on public buildings named after mainstream American historical figures with "unorthodox" beliefs. They then attacked minorities, as well as women, who chose to not be "useful" to Marxists. They then turned on their own if they expressed independent thought.
