The Other Side of Midnight - Richard C. Hoagland - Live Chat Thread

Started by cosmic hobo, June 24, 2015, 08:00:52 PM

I have it on good authority that tonight, Richard C. Hoagland will be interviewing, for the first time in broadcast radio history, the Face on Mars.  There's a chance I'm wrong, but remember:  this is hush hush so don't spread it around.

Paid my $5 & I'm in!
I'm downloading episodes now for my  roadtrip this weekend.
Any recommendations? Or should I simply start with ep #1.

I'm having a hard time separating your personal life from your professional life.
You're not the only one.

Okay, it seems I have to make a minor retraction.  My source has been very reliable in the past, but it seems his torsion field model was misaligned by an unsanctioned test of H.A.A.R.P. (coincidence?  I think not.)

Tonight, apparently, Dick Hoagland will not be intervieing the Face on Mars.  Rather he will be interviewing a dude named Dean Haglund, who apparently played a character called a 'lone gunman' in some 'television series' called 'The X-Files.'  I know, right?  Well, maybe the Face on Mars had to postpone.

edit:  aww, Rossy you trumped my punchline.

I'd start with #1. I don't know how much of the "train wreck" they keep in the archive, but the live broadcast of Episode One was the most disastrous/entertaining, with each successive show becoming slightly less so (less disastrous, not necessarily less entertaining, even though I equate the two on a one-for-one basis).

That's just my opinion.

They did a good edit job...not much train wreck in there...

That's a deal-breaker for me. I thought as much.

P.S. So that means episode one of OSOM is about 45 minutes long?

Not cool man!  After years of Hoagie going after "Not A Straight Answer" NASA for censoring photos & info, you think he'd just release the full unedited shows, to be in sync with his own calls for the truth.  Definitely an un-braapsy move dude.

Is he a space conspiracy theorist or are we just going to have an X-Files retrospective?

I caught about the first 30 minutes that first night...then gave up...didn't find the comedic value from the start...BUT...the show Monday with the Irish guest was very good! The Monday show is why I signed up! Content driven with a side of slap stick!  ;)

Due to a bad headset & hum on the skype audio feed, the face on mars was rescheduled.  ::) ;D

Thanks.
It's disappointing the recordings have been cleaned up.

What episode did Astroguy call in? The latest Open lines show on 8-11?
I might start with that one.

Morgus

The schedule for tonight is up now.
Hoagland's surprise guest is actor Dean Haglund - who played "Langley" from the X-Files' Lone Gunmen!
