I keep interrupting myself....lol's.  I am about half way through.  It is SO REFRESHING to hear some intelligent girls, talking on air like REAL PEOPLE, discussing anything that comes to mind.  I generally do not like listening to women, because so often, when I hear them, they are doing the "cute, giggly, barbie doll" thing, that I find so UN interesting, that I find I have no words to describe it.  I don't like "New Age" either.  No, notatall!!!!!  Vampires eh?  In my mind, they represent the "failure ego"  The ego that finds no worth in and of itself, and delights in the draining of others.  The victim can be of similar ego state, and become like a slave if it found no other purpose than to "be of worth" or "to feel needed" by another.  You are all so brave to just get "on the air" like that and just gab.  It takes all the courage I can muster just to do a short "call-in" to a show.  lol's.  Yes, my brow is bursting with beads of sweat, after only a few minutes takling to radio stars on the phone. :)  I DO wish (Redacted) would let us see a recent pic......hearing is SO much more interesting when you can picture the person who is speaking to you at least, even if not able to picture them in movement, as in a video, which is my preferrence by far.  Anyway, back to the show !!!!!

It does take a certain amount of bravery to go on the air, but I think I'm just too stupid to be afraid.  It was great fun, and all of you are very kind.  I blush.

Art is returning to the air to make everyone's nights much, much more interesting.  Get ready.

Lilith

It's interesting listening to the discussion on men/women.....I think the only thing men are afraid of when it comes to their women, is that their mother will be mad at them for getting bad grades, and that their lovely, sweet  beautiful bride will turn in to the frightful nag.

Hi Brig! Glad you were able to hear the show, and it was total fun for all involved, I think. Ponyboysunset brought the vamp, Redacted brought the sexy, RoseGirl brought the insight. I learned a lot and loved the way Bill wove in and out of the conversations with great ease.

I also want to thank Angel for wrangling all of us with good aplomb. It turned out to be a dry run for the Bella-Haven concept, and that's very exciting.

Those of you who know the cards already see the future. I like runes, so I'll check those out, too. But thanks to all the ladies, all the smart ladies for being here and for speaking here.

I HEARD that Bella-Haven concept brought up......can't wait to listen in :D  I don't know how I got here, or how I got so lucky as to be able to type with you all.......but I surely do feel honored to be in such shining company.  "Somewhere in my youth, or childhood........I must'a done something good." :D

Julie Andrews? I love Julie Andrews. Had the most impossible crush on her when I was terribly young. Sound of Music? Best. Movie. Ever.

I'll second that :D  I think my favorite tho, was the Mother Superior singing "How do you solve a problem like Maria"   lol's

By the way RoseGirl, a bit off topic, but,  I TOO remember the day the sky changed color, and the sun became less yellow...."Yes!!! I remember it well!!!"

Oh yes...wasn't it a trip? Walked out my door one day and -- blammo -- the sunlight was all white light like and the sky seemed a less deep colour of blue. And the air felt a bit thinner too. And it never went back to normal. When I was a kid I remember the light had a totally different quality to it, a deeper sensation.

That was back somewhere in the 80s I think. Being the pale sort, I almost called the police. lol

EXACTLY.  It saddens me to think people may never see the sky and sun that way...........

Razimus

Is this thread about Astrology & Tarot?

Razimus

Was going to actually mention something...

such as the secret behind Astrology & behind Tarot, but I don't think this is a serious thread so maybe next time the subject comes up...

I would like to read what you have to say Razimus.  I feel certain most people reading this thread would.

Nice to see this thread. In the past, we've tried to have a thread like this going. I've been a natural intuit since a child. Studied all aspects of it through the years. I have worked as a professional Psychic Medium in a few metaphysical stores. one being The Psychic Eye which is in Vegas and LA. I'm also a Reiki Master (began Reiki in the 90s when it was still new to many). Though I've used and own many decks, I don't always use a card or 'tool' for clients. I'm a Clairvoyant, Clairaudient, (all 'Clairs' actually)  , I may remote view... so the information comes to me without pulling any card or gazing into a tea cup, so forth. I could be in the car and get the info flooding through before my first reading even when I don't know who that individual is. I apply Astrology at times in readings. However I apply just about anything. It depends on the reading, who I'm reading. Each are unique, as is the vibrational energy connection. I have talked with the guys on GabCast on this. I'm 49 and this has been a part of who I am, even through my art. As it's merely another vessel of applying energy. Sigils, the history of sigils is one that's always fascinated me. I've studied every angle, culture, from all ends. Dealt with home cleanings, attachments and all that spooky stuff.

The novelty and woo woo factor wears off. How do we actually apply it to our life? Practical? In business, it's a tremendous help. I can read an email from someone inquiring about a commission.., read and see them and know 'Do I want to take this work? Is it a serious inquiry?' And navigating with energies of those in your life. Yet, it's healing work. Not everyone wants to heal. They want a magic wand and sadly one doesn't exist. Your Shark Totem won't do your laundry. You have to. And not everyone needs a reading. Part of the reason I don't care to always work in a store environment is that there's an awful amount of 'readers' who may not be psychic and just yank cards who are taking advantage. Nor do they have any sense of an ethical, moral guideline in this floaty field. And the primary intent in a store is money. Wanting readers to rope in appointments like a carny at a fair. Sadly, few want to do the inner work and take accountability for their own energy. It's everywhere these days and they'll drop hundreds of dollars to hear 'All will be better in four months' Yeah, that's an old school gypsy psychics use when they're intuit isn't sharp that day.

I value and love this gift. There is a responsibility that comes with it. While there are those (light workers, seers, healers, Shaman, fill in the blank of your hat's title) adhering to pure intention. And pure intention is a challenge at times as we are human after all. There's a big crop of those who are not. Because, we are all fumbling and stumbling. Wounded and hurting. And sure, people are going to scoff and poke fun of it. But after doing so for so long, that's irrelevant. So it is nice to see this thread because there's such an amazing beauty to it all.

Lovely. What deck is that from or did you design it?

I'm trying to post a couple from various ones I have, but I'm not psychic enough to figure out why they keep posting sideways. heh.

Chine

I'm sure a few of you are familiar with her work. Susan Seddon Boulet...I have two or three of her decks. This is 'Wolf' one of my favorites to work with as a guide. Those with Wolf (energy, medicine around them are easy spot) Beautiful and always fascinating. Great communicators, teachers. Focus on Unity and The Family. Not the 'Loner' as that applies more to Coyote as the Wolf is strength in the entire family unit. I'm going to add... Usually the dark blues appear around those with wild. Throat Chakra. A good stone to work with is Sodalite in association to Wolf. It's a great one for assistance on writing, teaching or public speaking ... Of course, studying varying cultures, even NA tribes there may be slight differences. I've really only studied and drawn to Lakota. But as we do, we create what works best to us, our situation with the 'message'

Boulet captured such elegance with the magick in her art. It's powerful and gentle at the same time.

Thought I would share... This beautiful boy is 'Tkai' A pic from several years ago. It was a gift to spend the day with him the first time I met him. He accepted me into his pack.  Had 'intuitive talks' with him when I'd visit. He is in my heart often and has inspired paintings and also personal strength and healing when I most need it. My anchor.

Tkai is beautiful! Animals can be great companions and bring out the best in people.  :)

Chine

Yep. We have so much to learn from them. Looking at a wolf in the eyes, and that connection is unlike any other. Just gasp at the gift and respecting it. Somewhere I have other photos where you see the gold in his eyes.

While spending time at Pine Ridge reservation (Lakota) in South Dakota, also sent te up close with the Buffalo. Have to be careful with them as their heads are huge and strong. One had fun tapping my shoulder and knocking me over. :)

Chine

In my reading room at the store. Iggy the Italian Greyhound, on my lap.

Was thinking of fun mini readings of anyone wants them. Curtis (Mudking) was my first Gabber to read the other day.

Hey, and thanks again for that link you sent me a few days ago on the art you posted above.

My furchild Carson ... since you have beautiful pup as your picture (wanted to share mine!).

Chine

Ms. C I'm going to pm you. I used to read online and you can. Actually, it's easier than when one is sitting across from you. But I don't read to entertain like a poodle doing a trick just to show in psychic. Also, some I may choose not to. Discerning energy and intent. I have many that have seen me at the store here and when I worked at Psychic Eye in Vegas and will decline if the energy is to 'eff' around. Also a mini fun reading isn't much energy. Also, as I spoke to Curtis (Mudking) on this...private in pms is better as information may be sensitive or intimate. Not to do so publicly do in front of many, not harmful just I may tap into info the person may not want out loud in air or in chat where others intent is not for the well being and pure intent. If that makes sense? That's being respectful of the energy of who I am reading. I'm sure others here who practice healing, intuit work understand. I have a few days of break between projects and thought it may be a nice idea... If respectful, positive and so on. Also I'm not 100 percent super star all knowing psychic.  and if I don't know or 'see' something I'll be honest and say 'I have no idea' or 'You don't need a reading. Why are you bothering?' And btw, I can sense why they are asking and hidden agenda. Ha! which is why bosses at a metaphysical store hate to hear. As I brought up in my post a few posts back in this thread.
