I'm curious if anyone got the opportunity to watch "Soaked in Bleach". The documentary that takes the ruling of suicide of Kurt Cobain and points it to murder. I haven't had the chance to watch it yet. Feel free to chime regardless of whether you've viewed the new movie.

Saw Renaissance at the San Diego Concourse with Al di Miola during my college years. Both were great but I fell in love with symphony/prog rock at that point. And Annie Haslam, lol.

Al DiMeola is one of my favorite guitarists: Loved him in Return to Forever, Go, the McLaughlin/DeLucia stuff, and the solo work. I've been lucky enough to meet him, plus see him solo, in Return to Forever, with John McLaughlin and Paco deLucia, and a tour he did with Stanley Clarke and Jean-Luc Ponty. As a guitarist, it always amazes (and humbles) me to see how easy he makes running up and down the fingerboard look. I saw him in a club here in Dallas and some guy brought an acoustic guitar for DiMeola to sign. It already had John McLaughlin's signature on it (another one of my faves). DiMeola gave him an odd look when he saw McLaughlin's autograph.

I just wanted to knock him unconscious and take the signed guitar

Lol, no apologies necessary - it's a fun exercise. Sadly, I also think that I am a musical snob, but there is SO MUCH good music out there, and I like so many different genres that it's way too tempting to put all of them into a single group.
