Great song, I've used that in the past, and I know Clyde Lewis does too. All you have to do to make it a bed is loop from about :23 to :39.

I heard it on your show. It is a great song and ever since I heard it, in around 2005, I thought it would be perfect for someone's intro to a show.

Music is so subjective which is why I've avoided posting or even reading this thread.

Here is one of my favorite songs. Jeff Buckley's Grace.

MmmHmm...Jeff Buckley.  I'm sad to have never seen him live.   There's a lot of crossover between my friends who like Jeff Buckley and those who like Rocco Deluca.  Deluca is one of my favorite live performers, obviously influenced by Jeff Buckley.  Here's one of his I like quite a lot - "Nightingale"

"Nightingale" Live - Rocco DeLuca

That's pretty good.  He sounds a little like Joe Bonamassa.

I think Stompa would make a pretty good bumper, though maybe too recent and over played.

One more odd one to set up a mood.  Otherwise, you can't go wrong with the Doors  ;D.

Ecstasy of Gold.
Ennio Morricone The Ecstasy of Gold.

1966. Hard to believe that is almost 50 years old.

Another possible Intro song:
Eternal Light (when the sky glows) - Hazel

features original Rendlesham UFO case radio conversation.
it's a quite powerful song, great for a show intro, and easy to talk over.

WOTR

This has to set some kind of mood... Modern but dark and somewhat haunting.
Apocalyptica - Quutamo

It seems that all of the versions of that song are "embedding disabled."  I really had not thought that it was that popular...

Leonard Cohen - Tower of Song

Funny... I was just thinking of Cohen.  I was actually thinking Anthem for basically saying that everything is broken, but there is still beauty.

Or "everybody knows" for more cynical moments where everything is broken with a little less hope...
Everybody knows - Leonard Cohen
