The more I listen to MITD the more Art feels so... out of touch? Dated? There are still great moments of comedy, but it's not how I remember. Maybe because I am older (but only in my 30s)? Maybe entertainment has just changed? Maybe it's awful guest fatigue? But Art's views just seem too old fashion for me to get the same enjoyment. The world has changed and has passed Art by. It's good that he believes gays should have marriage rights but his statement of how he doesn't agree with it just made me roll my eyes.

I really want to like this show. But maybe my tastes are changing? I mean I enjoy Hoagland's nonsense. Art just seems... I don't know.

You realize It's this idiot guest's view that is out of touch on this matter, not Art's?

You're entitled to your opinion of course. Personally, aside from this show, I've loved them all.

Art was trying very hard at the beginning to connect this guy to memories of Father Martin... Swing and a miss, and he's totally backed off of that now.

Hive it a chance. Maybe don't force yourself to listen to shows you're not interested in.

By the way, cultural Marxism has nnothing to do with this. It is a matter of obeying the law.

There aren't too many hipsters sporting Che rags down here. What areas of the country have these "laws"?

If you live in a city that has a non-discrimination law that includes gay people, then  a gay person should be able to go to any baker and get a cake. It depends on the laws in your locality. The bakers that have gotten in trouble live in cities that include gay people in their non-discrimination law. By the way, owning a business requires a license. Getting the license requires you to commit to honoring all laws in that community. If you refuse to do that, than you need to close your business and open it where such laws don't exist, preferably in the Deep South which is always about 30 years or more behind the rest of the USA.

By the way, cultural Marxism has nnothing to do with this. It is a matter of obeying the law.

Why in the F would you want to FORCE someone that does not want to bake you a cake, to bake you a cake????

Are you incapable of seeing the simple common sense non-confrontational philosophy in seeking out someone that WANTS to bake your cake?

I agree totally. I seem to be the current "progressive" on the forum.. Art is an old man set in his ways. He is a major disappointment to me because he has new knowledge and information at his finger tips, yet he stays locked into a narrow minded antiquated world view. I am thinking of cancelling my subscription. That makes me sad, but I hate his guests and he is so damn ignorant.
we did all this yearz ago WE WANT NEW STUFF NEW GUESTz NEW TOPICz thingZ that wil expand humanity as a whole. We will never grow recappin the old.

Possibly correct... Just wondering if people are as welcome to hold the belief as that in Christ.

The issue is quantity, got it. So how many dicks am I allowed to suck before it becomes sinful?

19.5 unless you have torsion issues. Fuck, confusing my fake Hoagland religion with the guest. Sorry.

Art needs to book the "God Part of the Brain" guy to make up for having this guest.
My god parts are comfortably situated below the belt.

Jesus, for you people bitching.

We just had a psychonaut hippy druggie comedian last night. It's good to have such diverse guests. It's good to hear what everyone has to say, even this guy.

Hah!  I'm not denominational but yeah, the Baptists have some different views for sure.  They come up with all sorts of fun theories to explain how Christ enjoying wine is different from a glass today.

They like to say that Christ was talking about "new wine" aka grape juice.  Bunch of bullshit if you ask me.  Fermented grapes make wine.  Yeah, there are a lot of ignorant people out there.

That's the equivalent of saying that the  bible does not talk about homosexuality being a sin.

Read the freaking book, people!

It happens every day via DUI enforcement. Just saying.
And "check points." Unconstitutional.  Forced blood draw and breath? Maybe, via contract. Against it but, you sign the paper for a license? But arguably bad also, if not drunk/high they should keep that dna in their database. I don't care if people/courts say they are ok. Besides the ones on the border (I don't like the internal ones,) a citizen or even an illegal once in should only be stopped for probable cause, a warrant, or some actual immediate danger. Prosecute the crime (fully!!!) but not pre-crime, road-blocks, etc. Crazy how everyone accepts this for citizens but is repelled when illegals or other criminals are stopped!!

Shut up and do what you're told. It's not hurting you -- except that it is. But that doesn't fit our deeply desired sexist/racist/homophobic fantasy so we'll just ignore that we're forcing individuals to work against their will at the point of a gun. This is progress.

Last night's show was great.  I really like this guest, too.  He sounds more Protestant than Catholic but nonetheless it's fun.

So Pope Francis is illegitimate then. That's what he's asserting. And Benedict XVI, despite his inherent conservatism and move to reform Vatican II and bring back the Latin mass.

My favorite guest he had on this subject was Thunder Strikes, the Indian shaman back in '96 or so.
Sadly, he passed away around the time Art got Dark Matter started a couple of years ago.

The fad of homosexuality we see in America is the result of the feminist dogma that says fatherless families are "normal" environments for children to be raised in...

I assume you are joking. Otherwise, you are the most stupid person I have ever met online, and that is saying a lot.
